Hello guys!
#AlexTheGrumpyOne here with another video for you :)
This is a video on #AutomotechGarageEquipment Wheel alignment tool that comes with a lazer set up. In this video I got a Set up, Review and demo of the product and also how to use it on your vehicle.

Technical data for the Toe in and Toe out spec can be found using programs like Autodata or finding a vehicle manual.
If you need spec for your car you can comment bellow and I will help you getting it.

Your tolerance should of been 15 minutes toe in/ out not 15 degrees.👍

Yeah they can be a bit of a pain to be honest. Just make sure u try and free it off as much as u can

I a kind of understand it but a bit confused bcos it was not how I was thought to use the other normal Dunlop guage. From how I was thought ones the guage is on the wheels(both side) and that signal is on Zero,if you pimp into the guage and the lines reading is on the arrow head as in centralized,it means the alignment is ok,but if it’s one sided it means it’s bad and would need adjustment. But from this that you explained,you said if the guage is placed on the wheels both sides,you will drag the signal to Zeros and if it’s on the zero,you will then press the button to see if the red light is pointing on the arrow centralized,if it is not you keep holding the button den move that signal to where the light will be on the arrow head,den wherever the number reading is us what you will adjust,my question is how do you know if it’s “IN OR OUT” And after you said after the adjustment you come back put the signal on zero then press the button & if it’s on zero then it means the car if align & gud for road test to set the steering. Confused though

These types of tracking gauges only do per axle toe, the wont do 4 wheel alignment. They wont center toe with regards to a straight ahead steering wheel, you can achieve this by repeating, measure, adjust repeat. But they will set toe just fine, you may not have a straight steering steering wheel , and car may crab if rear toe not set to centerline.

Nice tutorial :) So does this tool not work well if both wheels are out of alignment? Only works if one wheel is out?

You can take steering wheel off and move it a tooth

How do you know which side needs the adjustment?

Usually hope that it's the one you worked on. You can also see by looking at them with the steering wheel straight and comparing the alignment on the front wheel with the back one. See if it's pointing out or in

Wouldn't mind a kit like that for my car as always fiddling with suspension. However looks a faf to adjust if doing it on the floor?

I love this kit. Use to use the one without the Lazer and that was a pain. This kit is awesome and so easy to use once you done few times.

Oh I see. I don't think it's too bad mate. You put it on full lock and get your hands in there :) or put it on jack stands... better even is the low profiles rumps that I used to get car on the car lift :) as long as everything comes undone and not seized it's not bad on my opinion.

Hi, it was a very good video until you said you got everything perfect. I really wanted to see how you actually adjusted in and out toe when you do it. Otherwise everything else was very well explained, but I honestly need to see how you adjust the wheels so if you can do a video where the wheel alignment is out, so I can see how you do that I’ll be ever so grateful because I want to buy the same alignment tool as you from automotech or if you know a video, that actually shows that from somebody else please send me the link. Thank you so much obviously using the same equipment as you not a different type.
