HOW TO TEST HEATER AC BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR on Most Cars
In this video we will explain how to test blend door actuator on a car. You may have multiple blend door actuator on your car but applying this procedure will often tell you if your blend door actuator is working or not. It takes only a few seconds to test blend door actuator and find out if it is good or bad. When blend door actuator start going out you may experience clicking behind the dash, noise behind the dash. Also you may not be able to change the heater a/c temperature settings and you may not be able to change the air flow if that specific blend door actuator is bad. My blend door seems to jam n unjam randomly what's the best way to get an endoscope inside to see what's obstructing the door from operating. Bare in mind that this is with yhe actuator removed and attempting to turn left to right by hand, sometimes it moves freely other times it's frozen in place, could something have fallen through by the vent causing an obstruction. Im just trying to find an alternative to removing the whole dash out. BMW X1 F48

I've been watching your videos for long time. I thought I was subscribed and I was not. I've been advanced automotive technician for 25 years in dealerships. Now I'm independent and I don't have all the fancy dealership diagnostic tools at my disposal. I have watched your videos for help with diagnostics on countless vehicle repairs. I can't thank you enough. I'm very interested in buying an advanced level diagnostics system like the autel maxi sys. But after looking at this, I might get this to just to keep it in the gloove gox for random diagnostic repairs. What are your thoughts on the new Alltel Diagnostics systems. I really want to be able to do everything that I did at the Ford, GM and or Kia dealerships. Do you have any recommendations for advanced level Diagnostics systems. I am leaning towards the Alltel product. But I'm not sure which one to buy. There are so many. I think you should do an Alltel review on all of their products. In my opinion Autel should give you everything they have so you can test all of them so you could tell technicians like myself what options the have to buy their products. Thanks again, Mike

Sounds like your Mode door actuator. Set your climate control to only blow from your front vents. If it still blows on the feet, it's your Mode door actuator
