It’s also worth noting how to adjust the window if its to low or to high. On the underside of the door are two rubber grommets, bring the window all the way down and remove the grommets to reveal two torx 25 bolts on the bottom of there the window is clamped. Adjust as required. Ive been on with it for hours until i checked some forums as mine was to high and catching the roof. The power of the internet is amazing

good stuff guys had the window smashed on girlfriends E46 coupe when I was out of town and had it replaced When I returned home the window was fixed but all out of alignment, the wind coming in on the rubber seal just terrible workmanship I will get it realigned now thanks for this

When you adjust only front door, you will break "front-rear alignment" when top down. Front door: You can adjust high limit and low limit. Also interior-exterior angle. Rear vert window: You can adjust this match limit easily. Also interior-exterior angle too. Sincerely

This video is unfortunately incorrect. As adjusting the hex nut only wedges the window closer against the seal. It doesn't move the window up.

Hey, I have a e46 m3 vert and my convertible top doesn’t want to come down. I noticed that my rear small window on the passenger side gets stuck and doesn’t go all of the way down. Any thoughts?

If you change the rear quarter panel (both of them,) is it possible to replace the windows of a coupe, with that of a vert? (Slide down)

Hello. I have the same problem, I have made the adjustments that you have indicated in your video but the window sometimes collides with the fabric of the hood. I don't know what the fix would be. Thanks a lot.

Strange I don't really get this. This is incorrect procedure. According to BMW you adjust the window from the outside - Not inside. By carefully removing the outside trim list of the door (CI's and convertibles) you can reach the openings. Then adjust the window and its position angle towards the rear window by adjusting the two adjustment screws and the 13 mm bolt surrounding one of the hex-screws.
