It always amazes me how a human can turn his/her hands into the iris of a camera. That painting looks like some holy paradise seen in ones dreams. You make it look so easy, but I know better. We have a colorful landscape here in Tennessee USA and the forests are kaleidoscopes write now. And another gift you have is that million dollar narrators voice. I can picture hearing you telling fireside stories over a major radio station network. Very calming. You must have been a great teacher back in your teaching days. Thanks for posting. Scott

I enjoyed this video. I like to complement my bush time with a serious interest in literary exploration and writing. I love abstraction as a means to deeper truths. I think it's a mistake to be too definite and clear and lose the mystery. Even on the trail I need abstract release from the practical aspect. Thanks for this view of another side of life.

So beautiful Erik. I was so drawn into your painting as I am trying my hand now at water color painting. I will never be good at it, I can see that but it has always interested me. Many artists In my family but I am lacking that talent I guess. Your diversity in your videos is such a treat. How fast the seasons pass! The beauty of each season in Sweden is brought to all of us with your outstanding love of nature. I am watching the gorgeous sunrise here in Colorado and just marvel at Gods creation. I hope your feeling much better.

"I really hope you enjoyed this little video ..", I did. I enjoyed it very much. A watercolor technique question, when you applied the blue, had you dried the paper? Is that what kept the blue from merging? Is that what you do with watercolors in general, wet the paper to allow the colors to move, keep the paper dry to keep the colors separated? Thanks for all your videos, Erik. They are all entertaining, and unique - from the camping, to the sound grabs, to the painting / drawing, they are all wonderful.
