I've binge watched so much of your content recently. Your videography and photography is just stunning. Seeing the contrast, and unexpected similarites between the early LCDs, and the macro shots on leaves is beautiful. Along with the music in the background as well as your detailed narration, there's something kind of magical about your videos :)

When my kids were little we moved to VA from New Orleans, and the back of our apartment complex bordered some woods. I invented a 'game' for the kids where we'd go out and pick up leaves and see if we could tell which tree they came from, and how we could tell. Then we'd take a bag of leaves home and sort them over and over again--by type, by size, by hue, counting to see which pile had the most, etc... I was experiencing "fall colours" for the first time with them so it was mostly just an excuse for me to play around, but it felt educational. :)

How did you do that intro with the leaf colouring? That was trippy how you undid the green and without a cut you went onto drawing the red which wasnt there before

What we do here is go back back back
@martinschroederglst Жыл бұрын
Duh! Of cause it is played backwards. But how was the red added instead of the green?
@Rissen_ Жыл бұрын
@@martinschroederglst he replayed the replayed either orange clip but shifted the hue to red and overlapped. You see the image gets saturated and changes colours as he goes in for the red. Its a really cool effect he did
@MrKockabilly Жыл бұрын
That boggles me too. Of course he could have played the green backward but he can only do so on video. In the actual the thing is already green, he should be in another dimension to be able to paint again using red.

I love the colour change in Acer tree leaves. I first found out they did that while visiting an arboretum. From the outside they looked dark and purple but, if you got under the tree, the leaves lit up to be green and yellow. It was so pretty!!
