Hi Everyone! How is life? :) Now that we have mastered scales and arpeggios, it’s time to focus on rhythm. By adding some rhythm & melodic variation to our previous (step 2) etude, we create an etude that sounds like a proper bebop improvisation. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did creating it :)

Can i ask what those notes in the parentheses mean? You’re not playing them at all, so y are they there?

Those are called ghost notes. Very quiet notes. It is kind of there and not there at the same time... :)
