Sunsets, reflections and bears, oh my! A night to remember in Many Glacier.
This week's vlog picks up where last week's left off. I head to Many Glacier in search of fall colors and dramatic mountainscapes. And I was not disappointed. It proved to be a very rich time indeed. The warm mosaic of fall colors were rivaled only by the technicolor sunset that greeted us lucky viewers on the shore of Swiftcurrent Lake. Amazing.

More terriffic images Brian. Looks like you had one heck of a trip. Glacier is definitely on my bucket list. Bear encounters during hikes / photo sessions kind of gives me the shakes though.

Glacier is amazing! I hope that you get there sooner than later. As long as you are bear aware and have a plan for how to respond to a bear encounter, you'll be alright. 99% of the time bears want less to do with us than we do with them.

enjoyed your vlog and have two comments; time of year? I'm watching in December, and I'd like to know the gear used/settings for the photo's. I'm just starting over in photography and knowing the gear and settings is very helpful.

Your half Black/Grizzly bear is called a Cinnamon colored Black bear..:)

Ha. Yes, indeed. While editing that video, I realized the potential for confusion. What I meant was that half of the bears (6 of them) were black bears and half were grizzlies (6 of them), not a hybrid bear.
