I agree, the actress the played Azula in the M. Night version laid on the "evil" far too much. Over acting and clearly didn't know the character. She was playing her as if it were season 3 Azula already losing her mind. Also, in my opinion, I think the one design/character thing that M. Night version nailed was Aangs tattoos. I said this then and I'll say this now, they look baddass!

That arrow head tattoo was honestly.... Brilliant. It looked great. And it even looked cool when he went into the Avatar state. Now I need to vomit for what I just said.

Ozai: my second favorite. I’m glad that they show us Ozai’s face right off the bat with this image, especially with a known actor Daniel Dae Kim. They should use him to his full potential. Iroh: my favorite! He looks amazing! Azula: looks like a fourteen year old. The actress needs to have a great performance to sell it. They all do. Zhao: looks fine and he won’t last at the end of the season. Zuko: he looks so young! I’m not going to like it because when I’m watching it, I’m going to get so many feels! At first I wasn’t a big fan of the scar because I wanted it to be huge, but then my friend who went to film school told me that since he’s underage, the makeup time counts as work unlike adults and they legally allowed to work a number of hours. So they count down time for the scar. But I’m so happy that I can see it, unlike the movie.

Agree with everything you said. And that totally makes sense what you said about the time it takes to out on a scar.
