Unalaq is so hard, because he is kinda boring and also just evil. I do agree that Zaheer path to redemption is probably best how they had it. Kuvira, I agree, house arrest in the rich beifong estate in the best city in the world doesn't seem like a good enough punishment.

He was perfect in book 4. Yes, I said something nice about Zaheer 😝. He still believes in his ideals, realizes where he went wrong and tries to help Korra to defeat a facist dictator, because to him, Korra is the lesser of two evils. I wouldn’t change anything about Zaheer. Without his anarchy ideals, he is nothing. Who is Zaheer without his ideology? Kuvira: the RotE comics were sympathetic to her. If she hadn’t showed remorse in the finale, it would be a lot harder and not unbelievable in the comics to sympathize her. Bad things she did: used a weapon of mass destruction on a city, reeducation camps, threatening to leave people to starve if they didn’t follow her rule, etc. Kuvira and Baatar Junior should be brought to Justice. Their many victims deserve that much. She was like a fascist dictator. Did she deserve redemption? Probably not. But she was given a chance and it was up to her. However, I don’t like her being on house arrest back in Zaofu. That seems like a huge slap on the wrist. Sure she helped to take down Guan, but that still doesn’t erase what she’s done in book 4. I don’t like RotE for what it does for Asami, or specially what it did not do for Asami.

I like the way that Overanalyzing Avatar talked about Toph's arc in his video on The Runaway. As he said, it's very misleading to think she doesn't have one.

I really like this idea however I think the twin avatars should know each other and everyone knows that they are twin avatars. Twin Brothers. Raava and Vaatu are one. They grow within each other. This leads to the whole balance thing. However, Vaatu does reperesent dark and Raava does reperesent light, the common people believe that means there will be a dark avatar and a light avatar. This means that they will boost the light avatar because they think he is good and they will shun the dark avatar because they think he is meant to be evil. However as the story goes on, there is multiple paths you can go with it. You can make the predesignated dark avatar to be shunned so much that he says fuck it, imma be bad or the light avatar gets boosted up so much by everyone that he thinks he is always right but then turns out he is the one doing the evil. Maybe you can do both and neither, but with really good writing, you can create a super nuanced story about how society often dictates your role but you are still free to make your own choices. Also the cop out story would be that after all the back and forth, there is a third party that is evil that they have to team up against. But I think it would be cool if each avatar did have their own companions who are also complex and fans would literally have to pick a side on who they believe is right or "good" but the lines are so blurred that its not really clear. Some early game of thrones type shit. I would also really play up the red and white lotus as both of them want their champion but it isnt clear who is who. Add in some legacy characters and you got a solid show.

Zuko and Mai likely reunited and married and had Izumi, and Zuko probably made peace with Jin each of for closure for the two of them and for them to set things in order for their own and each other’s lives each and all so, which is what they do deserve at the least, with how Jin, Mai and Katara each were among the few to show Zuko kindness beside his Uncle Iroh - a key note here - genuine kindness whilst at that - what with how most who did show Zuko kindness did so not out of being ones to show genuine kindness to him but because of how and what he was born as.

Eww no I don’t believe the theory that Azula is izumis mother that would mean incest or Zuko adopting him her which I don’t believe this theory makes no sense because the writers of the comics say that Mai and Zuko got back together and it’s hinted at in the comics that they are a couple again and Izumi doesn’t even look like Azula or act like her and The meaning of Izumis name is fountain which is a reference to when Mai and Zuko fell into a fountain as kids and if Izumi was Azulas daughter she wouldn’t name her that she would name her something else because that name would be meaningless to her and I think Mai is Izumi mother and that is pretty much canon that she is and the merchandise for Avatar keeps referring to Mai is Zukos soulmate and it’s there’s too much evidence at this at point that it’s Mai for it just be a coincidence

Nostalgia ruined the Star Wars sequels in my opinion. The Legend of Korra actually went in a brand new direction that wasn't rehashing on the original. Yeah, a lot of people ended up hating both outcomes but still, LOK actually feels like a new and refreshing story compared to what Star Wars ultimately ended up becoming. LOK has redeeming factors that I can't say the same for Star Wars and LOK actually now has some sort of a cult following now.

I feel like the question is how much Ozai actually cares about Zuko but we saw that he was going to kill him in day of black sun he probably would’ve for this as well

I don’t get why people are still theorising about who Zukos wife is I’ve heard most ridiculous theories like the mother being Jin, Song , or Suki when her and Zuko were only friends and didn’t like each other romantically and were no hints romance between Suki and Zuko of it in the comics it’s just people with too much time on their hands misinterpreting things and Suki is still in a relationship with Sokka in the comics which everyone seems to forget and i doubt that Suki would cheat on Sokka and I’m pretty sure that Mai is Zukos wife and the mother of his child been it’s been pretty much confirmed by the writers of the comics that they got back together at some point but i doubt it was 3 years i think it was more like three weeks or three months and comics seem to imply that they get back together after Mai dumps new her boyfriend after she realises that she never loved him and still had feelings for Zuko and he still loved her and izumi looks and acts like Mai and her name means fountain which big clue that it’s Mai because her and Zuko fell into the fountain as kids after Azula push them into it and I never thought their relationship was unhealthy or toxic I just thought they really loved each other and just had some issues that they need to work out and they balance each other out pretty well and their personalities go well together because he shows more emotion than she does and he can bring emotions out her and she can calm him down when he’s getting to cranky or getting too anxious and writers ruing their relationship the in comics and them breaking up a couple of times was a bit ridiculous and hopefully them as a couple again in the comics and the new movies

With all the hype with ATLA Live action. ALOK is receiving some hate and love at the same time but honestly, Imagining the Live action of LOK, it really looks good. At first when ALOK was released, I wasnt ready yet to move on from ATLA but as years go by and I keep rewatching ALOK its making more sense now. I'd love to see a live acton on ALOK. I really like the choice of actors/cast. Hoping Netflix and the Creators of Avatar can see this in the future when they start to make ALOK.

I have a theory about why Sozin banning same sex couples. In the royal family punishment is always very hard, touch and trauamtizing.. Maybe Azulon waas gay and had a romantic relationship with a man. Sozin normally have no issues with lgbt but he is the crown prince he need to mary a woman to have offspring. He was ordered to end the relationship. Maybe Azulon didnt want to do what Sozin demanded. So out of pure spite he bebanished his lover and bannend same sex couples. Sozin would say because of his stubborness all gay couples in the fire nation will be punished. After this he was forced to a woman he never loved.

So this is the point A student can be a more powerful than the master of the student, like kyoshi master is Kuruk, and kyoshi is far so strong than kuruk. My point of this is Korra's master is aang and you can see the difference of them, korra has a metal and spirit bending and aang doesn't have. And also the point is avatar the last Airbender is what people first watch so they're just tooooo bias, you know if you're just a fan of 'aang is stronger than korra' bro grow up.

What if Sokka passed before Suyin was born? He knew he was the father, but ended up dying in a heroic way, but died sad knowing hed never get to meet his daughter. Katara would proably know, but we never saw her in a scene with Suyin because she passed before team avatar went to the metal clan.

I love the original, one of my top 3 shows of all time. Maybe even number one for me. This adaptation is terrible and doesn’t deserve another season, it’s trash..all of it.

Is season 1 perfect? No, it is not, not even book 1 is perfect. But book 2 and 3 got better with each season. So maybe hopefully it would be the same with seasons 2 and 3.

Exactly, no avatar state, Korra wins. Aang may have creative bending feats & uses his environment more but the key important difference here is that Korra can take a hit and hits hard, durable, agile, strength wise meanwhile Aang is defensive & def less durable. One hit, delete. Korra has actually more raw potential w the elements, being able to bend 3 elements at 4, and shes able to grasp all of it naturally, even utilizes combinations of elements at the same time like how she earthbended big boulders & used fire rocket booster to jump high buildings or when she made a water tornado and shoots fire at airplanes, meanwhile Aang is more defensive and shows preference to air wc is what hes master at. Combat/Martial art, are we even going to discuss this? Without bending, are we even going to discuss this? With Avatar State, they should really listen more to the dialogues instead of basing off animations alone coz sometimes plot armors happen especially if its about building the character. Roku said all of that and all they hear was "No, it depends." Like sure it depends Aang is also giving Korra his energy and knowledge, even taught her to energy bend like. No past life... Bro. Kuruk said the Avatar's power is great but it pales compare to the spirits. Like ever did they wonder how he only lived for 33 y/o? Korra literally has the best character arc in the entire Avatar franchise. I mean shes literally just Zuko's basic but extending hers to different levels like from being cocky & trying to prove something to more controlled & matured but they had to hate Korra coz shes not their typical type of woman they can easily fetishize/fantasize 💀

It's 1/10 at best.... I wish i could give it a minus rating, that's how bad it is... it's so painful to witness, I just wish I could unsee the live action... there's no wow-factor... no emotion... no chemistry... nothing that can make it memorable like the og show... it's astoundingly depressing, becuase i can't unsee this abomination... Gyatso, the greatest airbender in the world, didn't even put up a fight that lasted more than ten seconds... In the original show, Gyatso was surrounded by the bodies of almost a platoon of firebenders... Bumi is portrayed as a salty, dumb old man who blames his 12-year-old friend (a literal child) for running away instead of a nutty yet very wise and understanding old friend who gives guidance to Aang to be a better Avatar... Katara is supposed to be the most mature of the group, very headstrong, brave, and sturdy like a rock. Yet she's also caring and maternalistic, like a mother. She's a very remarkable female character who has faith in everyone and never refuses to turn her back on people who need her. I say everybody should have a sister or even a mother like Katara. That is how brilliant Katara's character is. Not a submissive little sister who needs to be looked after by her big brother, like how they portrayed her in the Netflix Live Action. Airbending seemed okay, but a lot more improvement is needed to show the full potential of airbending (not good enough). Earthbending doesn't have any solid martial art choreography and stance that makes it look like Earthbending. It just looks like people using telekinesis to chuck rocks at each other, like Magneto in X-men. Appa should have more character, as he's a very important member of the team that carries the whole gang on his back throughout the entire show. By the way, I didn't know Momo died because I didn't care to watch more episodes of Netflix's Live Action bullcrap... I am actually fuming at the showrunners right now 😠👿.
