Ave Maria is a beautiful town. The only downside is that EVERYTHING has HOA fees. And you are about 40mins - 1hour from jobs.

Jose great trip out is it me or did the town have a New Orleans touch ..The Church was a nice touch of architecture very dominant though nice to look at I wonder if it was as good inside 😁

yeah, it really does have some french new Orleans touches. As well as Spanish and Italian since its catholic themed town. I would not go inside, since its a religious place and I don't practice this religion.

The church is beautiful inside. You don't have to practice the religion to appreciate it as a work of art. I'm not Catholic I just think it's pretty.

I am Catholic, beautiful church. Wonder if it might get a tad cultish. Took forever to get into town! Do they have a hospital?

@@eileenfostel2645 A 23 Bed hospital is in the plan and a site has been selected already and approved. Also, there is a new modern Firestation and EMS currently under construction already fully paid for from Impact fees paid by all the new contruction. They are selling homes here at a rate of 1 per day closings. That's over 365 new homes each year. People are coming here from all over the country, mostly the mid west and north east. I have homes listed for sale in this community starting at $175K (1438sf condo) and $182K (smaller single family 1388sf) then $224,500 which is 1951sf. a single family- 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath.

@@empresslisa6875 - actually ... gas is usually a few cents a gallon cheaper in the Villages than up here in south Marion County. I go to the Villages every weekend, and I usually wait to buy gas til I get there.
