Series is Called Banshee. Lasted 4 seasons till it was cancelled not due to lack of views or nowhere to go. Because other shows which failed took priority. 4 absolutely amazing seasons. One of the best series I've ever watched.

This scene shook me. I'm a mom of 2 men. When I left my husband in Germany (he was Army), I went to live w/my MIL. He was cheating on ME, yet I got a phone call @her house to ask if I'd left bcs my baby's father was a black man! I turned to my MIL, while still holding the phone, & asked her about what we'd do if the baby was black. Her answer? We'd just give it a good scrubbing! And she LAUGHED so hard!!! She's Mexican btw. I gave the b#%h on the line her answer then hung up. When her son got back, he'd been stripped of everything, given a less than honorable discharge (only bcs I never actually accused him formally of infidelity), & was never able to apply for any kind of benefit as a veteran (obviously). When he tried to debt paternity of his 2nd child, his mother refused to hear it, & in fact cursed him for it, telling him the child would be his exact likeness (he IS, SO much!) for trying to deny it. The whole family knew me quite well. I'd lived with them in the house the whole time we were married except for when i went overseas. I babysat the younger kids, took them on outings, went camping w/them, when i wasn't at work, I was home w/them. They knew me better than my own family did. And helped me much better & for longer than my family. So when they found out that their own son began abusing me, their wrath knew no bounds. They ostracized him, kept him away from us, & did their best to help me get away. ❤

Nothing "police" about that other than getting him in the door. Once the cell door was standing open, it was just a father with a legitimate beef and a pansy little boy who beats up real men's wives. when I was pregnant with my son, my husband and I had to stay in one of those extended stay places.. our apartment wasn't ready for a week. I ran into an Aryan nation..individual..or whatever you call them. Trying to not curse on here. At first, the man wasn't evil or glaring.. until he saw my husband and my stomach. I have never seen such evil or hate towards me before. A month later, a mixed racial couple the same race as my husband and myself were targeted, attacked, and their place burned down.
