Man... Matt's voice from this era was insane. It certainly was not sustainable as it was probably harmful to his voice, but it was so powerful. The massive improvement in his voice between their first and second albums was outrageous, he was a natural.

NemDanusorn So, singing and screaming require different vocal modes. Especially since Matt sings such high notes, his voice requires a lot of tension. Screaming this way lets him not loosen his vocal cords as much as he normally would.

Syn has stated that most of there early live shows, he was drunk as fuck, plus his guitar work isn’t as good, so maybe like 6

i would say 5-8. but only for syn cuz he said in an interview that he would always get drunk before they popped off in 2005. also his guitar was a bit out of tune and would mess up on occasions.
