About Dude Dad:
Hi! I'm Taylor Calmus, a Colorado-based actor/comedian. I started Dude Dad© two weeks before my son Theo was born as a way to stay creative while learning to be a father. My wife Heidi and I now have 3 kids and over 300+ videos. My purpose for the channel is to entertain, enlighten and inspire.
In addition to Dude Dad©, I have been in numerous TV shows, commercials, and have regular appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live. I will also be hosting my own TV show called "Super Dad" on the new Magnolia Network / Discovery+. Heidi and the kids will also be a part of the show. I am originally from the rural community of Howard, South Dakota.

Same for moms but I can see the pay off in my 3 grown kids. It's a short season of infants and toddlers. Then you worry when they are off on their own before you know it.

I’m a big guy - 250 lbs in about 12” of mattress every night for how many years... I haven’t slept well in I don’t know when. I gladly trade the neck pain that comes with falling sleep sitting on the couch for the extra space it provides me.

From the day my brother and I came home from the hospital mom and dad’s bed was completely off limits and before the age of 1 we were moved to sleeping in our own room. Never slept one night in their bed.

"Never hire someone to do a job you can do yourself...in quadruple the amount of time" my list of projects only keeps getting bigger because there aren't enough hours in the day. By the way my four-kids age range from 16 to 10 and I still cannot find the remote controls; it doesn't change no matter how old they get. Haha.

I soooo needed a distraction. Have an appointment with a neurosurgeon next week. Saying & trying not to think or stress about a brain tumor is harder said than done. KZfaq has helped me a lot in distracting my mind. Just when I thought Heidi couldn’t top the breastfeeding scene she is in the master bathroom….🤣🤣. Thank for such a great job everyone. As a fellow pumping mom, I get the frustration of someone accidentally walking in on you. Heidi, you are making me feel so heard right now! The constant need to pump (especially during a formula shortage) makes keeping the house clean so difficult.

Such a fun video, at shaking out the car seat I totally cracked up. 😂 we just upgraded to a 7-seater, with 3 kids still in car seats.

I am the oldest of six and have no children my siblings have them. Going to visit them brings back memories. So many laughs in this one. The showing of the bathroom was hilarious passing this video on to my siblings
