This brings a lot to light for me. 1) Bailey gets violated way too much for everything he’s contributed. The goals, the assists are always top quality too. 2) Watkins is a genuine talent now and NEEDS to be in the England team. The range of finishes. He’s just shat out goals all season it’s crazy. 3) Buendia is vital to this squad more than he’s given credit for

It's been said... but the "perception" of Bailey being "not up to prem standards" and the REALITY of the quality he produced this season is like miles apart. Each goal (with the exception of the OG vs ManU) and assist (or pass to set up the assist) were top top class.

Either one of Buendia's against Everton, Ashley Young's away to Forest or Douglas Luiz's free-kick vs Spurs were my personal favourites! 😍 The Buendia goal in particular was ace as I LOVE the sound of the ball crashing into the back of the net! 💯👌🏾

Ramsey and Luiz really stepped up with their goals and assists in the last few months. You can see how well they've adapted to Emery's system.

It's clear how this season the build up passing play has been right there on show to lead to 80 % of these goals, not overlooking for a second the individual goal brilliance from Digne vs Man Utd, Luiz with his two goals from corners and a free kick and a "the others" quick player round up with a few outstanding goals from McGinn, Ings, Young and Traore. But the last goal in the video against Brighton and Hove really sums up the season regarding the linked up attack, McGinn and Bailey work together to bring the ball to Ramsey who really never stops impressing going forward, he falls and beats the goalkeeper giving the simple tap in for Watkins.

Hopefully being in Europe helps us grow our fan base. It’s a business now and to compete within the realms of FFP, we need more eyes on us > more followers > more views > more sponsorship > more revenue etc. 362k subscribers. There’s fan channels of other clubs that dwarf those numbers. Until Villa get the commercial presence we won’t be able to mix it with the big 6 regularly. We’ve got a superb manager and a good squad. These things are temporary. What keeps United and Co near the top regardless of the manager/player merry go round and is that they can buy any player at any time. And we can definitely do it! Chelsea, City and Spurs have over the last 20 years. Now is the time to create the dynasty that keeps us in that top half of the league every year! UTV!
