8:35 You reached europa league as you were the winners of the conference leauge and according to rules of uefa if any team won any European competition they get promoted to a higher European competition (Ie winning conference leauge and next year in europa leauge) even if you dont met requirements in europa leauge like coming 10th

Well the reason you were able to play in the conference league after being relegated is because as long as you won it in the last season you get automatic ticket to play in it again
