I'm getting back on track with editing (slowly), and I'm now sitting on SO MUCH FLYING FOOTAGE. I almost don't know where to begin. 😅 I'm really curious to hear what type of content all of you generally look forward to - the cinematic stuff? Technical flying topics? How-to stuff? IFR? Let me know! 👇🏼💬 Thanks so much for the support - I couldn't be doing this without all of you tuning in when a new video drops. 🙌🏼

The radio traffic shows it’s a busy neighbourhood, and your new panel lets you keep the FLYING tasks front and centre by helping you quickly manage all of the available information you need to work through for an approach. It will become even more apparent when you fly alone.

As always, excellent content and crisp resolution on these videos, Josh. Excellent traffic resolution in the Venice Airport vicinity. We often get so mesmerized by flying and awestruck by the scenery and vistas to the exclusion of safety and that can be unfortunate at times. So, mazel tov to your keen situational awareness as always, Josh! Thanks again and keep publishing.

I’m totally envious of your upgrades. I came from a glass cockpit 16 years ago and walked away from flying thinking that chapter was done. I’ve now done the ppl and working instruments in a six pack. I can’t wait for upgrades which are slowly happening. Electronic displays have to be the new standard. I hope to fly upgraded instrument aircraft in the future. The difference in reliability and safety are like night and day. The instrument evolution is finally here today..

I bought an American Legend Super Cub two years ago, that has a G3X touch. This was an upgrade from the VERY dated panel in my 1965 Cherokee 180 I had been flying for 15 years. Not to mention a modern, fully functional autopilot!! I can’t tell you how much more I love it over the older analog instruments. And all the information you could need for a flight is right there at your fingertips. And things are so much faster and easier without all the knob turning! Enjoy, Josh! Modern avionics are worth every penny and once you go modern, you will never want to go back!

I flew to KVNC many times while I lived in Stuart, FL, on the Atlantic side. Sharkey's had their own shuttle van back then, so Uber wasn't needed. We would usually walk back to the FBO in an attempt to shake-off lunch, always unsuccessfully. Their jambalaya was second to none.

This new panel reminds me of when I was 16. I had a 1977 CJ5 Jeep with a V8 engine and manual 3 speed. A buddy of mine gave me a (used) HUGE ProComp racing tachometer to go in it. I was excited because it was cool to look at and the Jeep didn't have a tachometer at all. I was mounting it to the dash later that day when my dad walked into the shop. He immediately told me do not install it. He said that I needed to be concentrating on driving and watching where I was going, not looking at a tachometer. He said I didn't need any more distractions. I was disappointed at the time, but I knew he was right. The Jeep did already have a V8 which was distracting enough anyway. Good videos though, and N80991 is the nicest 172 around. With all the midair collisions, just don't forget to keep both eyes outside. Thanks.

Cool. Our club's Piper Archer III is going to get a G3X Touch this winter, so it's interesting to hear of your experience. "Only" two screens for ours, and hopefully they'll reconnect the autopilot, too. Meanwhile, the little training "Cadet" will get a G5, and maybe if we like it, they'll upgrade our C172S, as well.

Challenging yourself doesn't always require a faster plane. That's a pretty narrow-minded perspective that you will hopefully shed with experience.
