This month Simon Crow is back in England for a 48-hour session on one of the finest estates in the UK. You join him at RH Fisheries' Acton Burnell in Shropshire, fishing on the tricky bottom lake where only ten original carp reside from a 1990 stocking. He is fortunate to land three of these to 35lb in the same day, including a few of the gorgeous scaly stockies up to 28lb.
Simon also discusses his tactical approach, his simple rigs and the mindset of being on such a tough water. There's plenty of playing action, heavy rain and even a guest appearance from a family of swans that needed some assistance in getting their babies back to the lake.
