Good idea to use lubricant, I hadn't thought to do that. Would something like NAPA Sil-Glyde work?

Jay, for what it’s worth, local parts stores do carry injector o ring kits. Maybe not for all types but the ls crap I have they do.

Another thing to watch for is the RIGHT SIZE O-ring too(!!!) - we ran into this with my nephew's 5.0l SBF, we cut a few O-rings(vasolined up and all) trying to reseat the awful cheap fuel rails that the previous owner had used and went to the auto parts store to pick up a new pack of injector O-rings. Specifically packaged and sold for the purpose, they weren't just random packaged O-rings. But, when we put them on the injectors, they fit pretty loose, both the O-ring cross section was a little too small of a diameter to fill the groove in the injector body and the O-ring's internal diameter was a little too large for the depth of the groove in the injector body, was definitely a no bueno. Ordered the RIGHT right ones online, fit like a glove. This is NOT an area where you can fudge it and cut corners - not paying attention to your injector O-rings can be a great way to burn your car to the ground

Question: I have an SC 2JZ that has a blown headgasket and is hydrolocked. The Torque Converter is still attached and the motor doesn't turn. Don't give a damn about internals, cause I'm probably going forged. The question is can I salvage the block?

You tend to have to look at stiff to figure out of it is damaged
