I really don't understand how people without even basic knowledge of the language can call themselves 'teachers.'

Exactly my thoughts! Shameless, arrogant, illiterate people with no education whatsoever call themselves teachers, ridiculous🤦‍♂️.

The girl should listen to the song by "One Headlight" (performed by "The Wallflowers" band). This song has a lot of useful car-related words and phrases.

She irritates me more than Marina does. Marina is not claiming she is a native speaker, ARIANNITA does.

They are both bad. Mogylko is arrogant and full of herself. None of them should be teaching. At the same time there are a number of non-native professional English teachers. They’ve graduated from an accredited pedagogical college or university, they’ve studied to become a professional language teacher. Being non-native has nothing to do with the language teaching. These people are simply ignorant and illiterate. It’s a pure scam.

Not a native speaker here. I dont know why but "pumping your car with gas" doesnt sound wrong to me. She's not saying only "pumping your car", the whole phrase is pump it with gas, it doesnt really mean you pump your car, it sounds like, you get your car pumped with gas but without using the passive form. It may be sounding informal, but doesnt sound really wrong. Again, not a native speaker here.
@hettyherz
@hettyherz 21 күн бұрын
As far as I remember, the verb "to pump" goes with "in/into, through", not "with", that's why "pumping your car with gas" is wrong and it really sounds weird. You can pump something into or through something, and you can't pump something with something.

when a teacher taught you that the moon is made of cheese wouldn't you like to know that it is not true? Many people use these clips as a preparation for an exam. They are doomed when they take this for real. Hence I don't think this is bashing.
