Excellent video brother. We need more people like you to educate our brothers and sisters in the diaspora. I wish the African American sister Art Carney in Gambia would watch this video and learn something. She's as disconnected from the local population as can be. She never shares her platform with local gambians. If a Gambian is in her video the person is showing her around or something to that effect. She doesn't feature Gambians in her videos. She's never had a Gambianin any of her dozens of videos telling their stories how they befriended her. She doesn't even try to learn any of the local languages in Gambia. She has videos showing "her people" coming from American to rent some properties and has a half dozen videos bragging about the luxury of 400 dollar a month mini mansions. Your video describes blacks like her to perfection. She's simply an opportunist who thinks that her being black gives her a free pass to disrespect the local populace. Thank you brother for taking the time to enlighten us.

Ken Allen aww thank you for this feedback!! She has a lot to learn through her journey let’s give her some time. Maybe she realized her mistakes and will eventually do good . But right now let’s focus on the positive side more and leave the few negatives

Art Cathey has some valid points. The problem is she should NOT have addressed these issues in the general population of Gambians or among Continental Africans in general. Some of these issues she brought to the front are problem those who are coming to live in Africa may also have a problem with and could be a concern to some of their health, such as unsanitary conditions. Art Cathy should have addressed these matter in a orientation session and amonst concerned persons of the diaspora who are returning and among concerned Gambians that understand where she's coming from, OR she should have done so in private conference with those who are in agreement with her... Unsanitary Conditions and Poverty are NOT Africa's by culture, you can find them both in many parts of the world , including the U.S.A. The only problem I have with Art message is that she delivered it to those who dont care and she did so disrepecrfully. As far as her being a opportunist? 🤗"Don't know", "Don't know her well enough to pass that type of verdict and conviction,, but you do know they have opportunist all over the globe also, some of them are African elistist preying on those stuck at the bottom which is " One" of tje other major reason why there is so much poverty and unsanitary conditions on the continent of Africa. Also do you remember history, Marcjs Garvey was labeled an opportunist also, and a fraud, and so was Kwane Nkrumaj.😳Why dont you sit back at your labtop or desktop and think on that awhile.

@@donred1693 I agree with many of your points. But the evidence shows that Art Cathay is not a Pan African. She has a video explaining why Gambians are poor. It is truly sad and pathetic. This woman's ignorance is unbelievable. The book How Europe Underdeveloped Africa by Walter Rodney clearly shows how European Imperialism and Colonialism in the late 1800's and 1900's is the primary reason for the economic woes of the African continent. This woman doesn't give any type of even intelligent analysis. She doesn't mention how the Gambia was run by a dictator Jammeh for 20 years who looted government coffers. I could go on. Art has said on record in one her videos that she wants to be part of a community of black expats that separate themselves from lazy, dirty, "dumb" and "slow" Gambian people. She doesn't mingle with the local people and has said this repeatedly in her videos. Any "valid" points she may have raised will be completed nullified because she is arrogant and doesn't care about the local people. Watch Blaxit's video and see a completely 360 degree difference. She's the exemplary model of what an African repatriate should be. She has never made a single video denigrating Gambia or its people.
