Well that's unfortunate. Dodgy cable? There's an old saying about "don't believe anything you hear, or anything you say". It's normally kinda cynical, but in this context it's good advice.

I am daisy chaining my UA Twin X through the UA X8, and I think the sample rate on the TWIN X somehow got mismatched with the X8. It's the only thing I can think of.
