As a healer main, I feel this in my soul.

I didn't have a favorite AvyCatte moment, and then I got to 2:29

One of my rage inducing things as a healer, is slow casting a rez. And as my rez finishes the boss starts doing an AoE. The rezzee starts attacking as they get up, boss aoes and goes right back onto the floor.

Things that tilt me off the face of the star: 1) when someone sets a pull timer and another person in the party decides to pull way earlier than what was set. 2) If I get rezzed and wait out my invuln tiner just to die to damage because the healers didnt actually put a regen or throw a heal my way. 3) empty houses. Why even have the house?! 4) people who try to wait out the loot timer in duties. Why are you doing this no one likes this. 5) shield healers trying to overwrite other healers shields, or judt queuing in and having been paired with another shoeld healer. 6) tanks fighting over aggro, work it out between the 2 of you or let the person who turned stance on tank!

As a fellow Miqo’te player, that texture issue only applies to the fluffy tail you picked!

2:02 The dye-issue is quite frustrating. So many pieces of gear, which look good, but have to pass on, because they either dye weirdly or have their secondary and/or tertiary channels just flip their colors. We need a second dye option!

The hair clipping gets me the most, because either I have to swap over to a different hairstyle to avoid it, or stick with my hairstyle but have to swap out my glam. It's for this reason I wish we could bind hairstyles to glamour plates, at least then I could switch between short and longer hairstyles easier while coordinating the glam to avoid the clipping.

On the neighbor bit, i actually had to take the loss and move due to my neighbors putting up like 5 otters on the fence. I have autism so i wanted a place i can just go relax so i dont get overstimulated in game, and the sound they make drove me genuinely insane. (It was my dream plot to...)

In regards to the dyeing, I do sometimes wish they's borrow from Guildwars 2, where items can (and often do) have multiple different colour slots, that you can dye seperately. Or at least go with one primary and one secondary dye option like Neverwinter Night's second addon had all the way back in 2003. Am I the only one who constantly heard "root people" when she talked in front of Titania shooting out roots? Just me? ^^

As both a whm main and a dnc main.. I'll admit I both raged at ranged dps for doing that and then proceeded to stay away from party a few times myself as dnc lol (never complained tho, at least)

I noticed the tail thing it ruined the look for me so I swapped to the tail the just has the little ploom at the end, its been my favorite ever since. It also changes colors well

I main SMN, and I'm a stroke survivor in my 60s. Hanging back lets me avoid a lot of mechanics dancing, and probably keeps me alive as much as heals. But I feel your pain, and I'm sure I'm not the normal case. What makes me rage? Things like "Worthy of his back" that make it super hard on people like me (disabled gamers) to just get through the MSQ. I haven't gotten past it yet, and no, not even on "very easy." I don't want to stop gaming. Too bad you can't help heal me for that. ;)

I really hate when in Ex trials or savage there is always that one person that gets hit by stupid ass mechanics, literally the most basic , simple , elementary school ones. Or decide to distract themselves right when a critical moment comes up and we're forced to wipe because we can't do it without one person. Or when i'm tanking I do reprisal and the other tank does that as well , then when an aoe is coming up im not doing reprisal and the other tank isnt either and when i decide to finally do it they do as well. im gonna get the axolotl mount and send the screenshot to that person lol.

As a healer main, for real, I'm not a white mage, but Asylum is now so MASSIVE that not standing in it is absolutely for the foul-minded and if they perish because they are not full hp and die to that raid wide, I WILL tell them to stand closer or suffer the consequences, for I am the true harbringer of life and death! ... But I'm a sage main, so I don't care all that much, my Kerachole hits everyone anyways. 💅

Lol, about the outdoor house furnishings: There's a house by my FC house that has been "on fire" (covered in bonfires) for a couple years now.

I am the healer of my friend group, and I honestly love healing. I don’t love chasing my one friend down to heal them. Now I just randomly give them regen to confuse them.

6.4 has annoyed me as a Scholar main, I need to unlearn years of muscle memory now. If a DPS is out of range I do not heal them, I even go as far as to place my soil so its just short of them but now square have made that so much harder. If your a sprout in an early dungeon I can tolletate it, your new you need to learn, but at max level in expert or gods forbid extremes? You straight up deserve the death. Because they will almost always complain that its us healers that were in the wrong.

I feel the pain you have for long hairstyles. It's bad enough my au ra horns sometimes clips through my clothes but then it has to be compounded with the fact that great lengths hairstyle clips through a lot of collars.

I was so guilty of staying out of healing range lol. It wasn’t until I actually played healer that I realized how annoying that was. I always make sure im in range of the healer now. Also, one thing that annoys me is trying to find good glams for my male roe that don’t look horribly stretched out.

1: when i play healer (mostly as a sage) if you are not in the AOE range, i just say "sorry, my heals are mostly shields and i need to constantly re up the tanks, if you are not in range, sorry i cant help you 2: i dont play it as much now, but I was a red mage before reaper, and I would constantly quick cast res when healer had no swift cast, it was only fair I help since it is faster and it keeps the healers MP for more things like actually healing 3: when I play Summoner I put out a warning at the beginning of the duty i am in that I will be trying to keep my summons of everyone's screens so I will try to be on the other side or on the flank of every one since those fuckers take up an ungodly amount of space on screens, just because I have it set to medium, doesnt mean everyone does, so be kind

my biggest rage, is outfits that look completely different on different genders. (especially applicable to the neir raid gearsets) i see a lovely lady in a stunning off shoulder gown and i try it on and it another ugly double breasted button up nightmare, or a fancy corset that turns into a plain long sleeve shirt. I hate seeing a cool glam and going "aw man i bet that'd look so good!" only for square enix to kick me straight in the popotos because goD FORBID A MAN BE CUTE!!! PRETTY BOYS OF THE WORLD UNITE! 1 thing that specially grinds my gears is in savage or ultimate content in pf, when I'm willing to drop my healer dps to hardcast raise after both of us healer spent swiftcast, the other cohealer just mocks me and keeps dpsing around while i would want him to hardcast raise someone in need.

The house in front of our FC house built a big wall of stacked show windows, why? They did once do some kind of drive in Movie thing with the wall as the screen which sort of made it a little less annoying.

I used to main healer. But I stopped on Stormblood's release week after too many tanks were doing wall to wall pulls in Bardam's Mettle. with Alexander Savage STRENGTH GEAR. STRENGTH GEAR. What's even WORSE, is I had some in Doma Castle with STRENGTH GEAR.

The only positional range dps have is "stay in healing range" and 90% screw that up because they get told they have no positionals. And as a tank i pull the healer even further away from them if possible

4:30 Those people annoy me as a dancer main too. Not only are they out of range to be healed, but they are generally also out of range for their buffs to properly work (not to mention that the aoe damage caused by Standard/Technical Step would not hit).

i too hate the hair clipping so much, i have to rock the short hair styles to keep from raging

Deleted my previous comment because I thought when you said savage you meant the criterion savage. But yeah, I totally understand the frustration with the axolotl being from P12S. But at the same time, next expansion it'll be totally doable for most people who want it. In ShB I wanted the E12S cane SO much, it was absolutely perfect and I tried my best to join a static and clear it. Sadly my static fell apart due to disagreements and I ended up just waiting until EW to raise the level cap. I got the cane a few months ago and it's fantastic! ^-^ Definitely worth the wait! So if anyone is really upset, feeling like you'll never get it because it's from a final savage, don't give up on it! Just hold out for the level cap to raise and you'll be able to get it without near as much stress as people are going through now for it. ^-^

putting on my "akchkually"-glasses: the most of the dumplings 3d-shapes are achieved by smart material textures, not polygons. at least thats what it looks like to me. also hair is really difficult to do in 3d visualization. maybe they could like double the amount of sides on it, so it becomes two X shapes displaced to each other.

As somebody using the same hair except navy with purple accents I feel your pain. Though what grinds my gears is NPC houses, barracks and so on. Like, when I enter an ishgardian barrack in ARR part of ishgard and see their barracks and storage having one desk with a clerk and that's all. LIKE, THIS IS NOT FLOOR, THIS IS EARTH, IT IS FROZEN, I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THEY SLEEP ON IT!!!

Using housing objects to intentionally disrupt other player's is a reportable offense, and it's pretty evident here with the spires blocking the view, and the fact the house is entirely empty inside.

the thing that drives me nuts about Dying, is the window for it clearly has two slots, we should be able to dye a Primary slot and a Secondary slot and control the color combinations. One of my favorite shades of Red in game is Dalamud Red and sometimes when I use it on a glam I get an ugly pink accent color going along with it. My color choices are Red, Black and White, so having an ugly pink in the mix really grinds me.

If anything I probably annoy the healer by staying too close to them all the time on my summoner...they usually know the mechanics better than me so I figured they're probably in the safe spot :p

I think the range DPS thing is mostly an issue with players who only play range. I had the same issue at the beginning. The staying close to the healer part is not straightforward unless you have actually played one for a bit and understand that the healer can not use single target heals on everyone. One misconception I also had was that staying far from the boss would help to avoid AoEs and handle mechanics. But in practice, that is never the case. The game is designed to allow close range DPS jobs to handle mechanics. Staying far from the boss usually just set you up for taking wide AoEs because they are timed to be avoided when you have to move from the center or the arena, not the extremity. The Griffin boss at the end of the Heavensward patches is a good example of this.

Anyone who hasn't seen the tail thing before doesn't pay enough attention to care about it in the first place.

I have to say you got me with the healer thing. I myself am still pretty new and play a ranged dps. Bard to be precise. I came from a mmo 2 months ago where heal abilities had like 6000 km range as long as you are in the same group and instance. so I wasnt aware of that. And last week, actually, I was in a lvl 60 duty and stood on the edgiest edge of the room. and the healer wrote: "Bard, you are not in range for any of my abilities. stay closer" and I was like: "Whait, that's a thing? I didnt know!" since then, especially with the new 6.4 options to color your healer name different, I try to stay closer. but nothing the less: I felt caught as you mentioned it and I smiled because of it! :D

fun fact, i feel like that dumpling was a direct response to the yakuza bread, a scene from yakuz alike a dragon has a super realistic looking breadmodel breaking up and i bet the xiv team decided to do their own version for funsies

My take on the axolotl mount being behind savage content is that id way rather it be behing free content than a paywall. It's hard content but it's really annoying when polygons cost more than your subscription to the massive video game that you play. I'd rather start crying cause of the mechanics then pay $22 for a mount. I'd never pay the money but free content is always better than paid content

As a range Dps we like to stay all the way out in Egypt not because we are afraid of your heal, we are afraid of the boss hurting us

As a heal main I have let DPS die for staying out of range, when they complain I tell them, "I can keep the tank alive or run to you and keep you alive. I will let the tank chose which next time."

Number 2 is SO TRUE, I play Face 4 Ronso Horn Hroth, their topknot comes with gold and silver accents which makes mixing metals a tad easier, but my OCD struggles with blending metals in glams. 🤣🤣🤣

i agree with the dye,, would be nice to be able to dye multiple parts of the top or leggings, understandable that it wont be like that for gands or feet maybe head but yeah at lest top and legs wound be great to have several dye options

You know what grinds behind my gear? loosing the skills when going to lower level content and getting hit by a difficulty spike because I played a week straight of level 20 - 50 dungeons but suddenly got a level 90 end game dungeon and hoping I can just remember my entire rotation as a tank/Healer. Like "Oh right, I have that skill at this level." or "Oh for hydaleen's sake let me use my other skills"

I think the axolotl mount being locked behind savage is a good idea. It makes people try out new things and explore an avenue of it they may have never thought to try before. If you really want it, you'll study, toughen up, and finish the tier to get it. Don't expect everything to be a handout lol

Similar to the tail, when there a minor bug in the graphics, even though small, cause I notice it, it just going to be always there in my head. Even though they get fixed, they been taking multiple patches for the fix, even worse when they split the fix between patches, why the fix for viera was put off til the following patch from the patch with the fix for the other races?!

What leg piece did you use at 6:05? 2B or? Btw, as a healer, I'll let them die including the annoying tank that asks me to dps when they're squishy.
