Quick video highlighting some of the incredible jewelry and effigy pieces sculpted from all different colors of rough corundum....this video discusses the incredible 2 tone Miniature tomahawk medallion/amulet even crafted with tiny hole to attach the pendant to a neckless or to tie to a tomahawk or It's possibly a piece that was tied to a pipe as well. in order to either put out the pipe or assistant packing the pipe and is a decorative piece but I'm pretty certain this was worn around the neck... It reminds me a lot of how the Vikings used to wear amulets and pendants of Thor's hammer around their neck sort of the way Christians or people of the Jewish faith while they're wear a cross or a star and sort of the same idea that's my feeling on it except this pendant was made well over 13,000 years ago . the picture in the thumbnail is of a giant slab of bluish green to clear aluminum oxide aka a sapphire weighing over 5lbs ....I have a massive white/milk sapphire in its matrix and it's over 50lbs ...the stuff is everywhere in my area and ancient peoples where using it as a primary material for crafting tools and points and jewelry...the ancient sapphire culture of North America!!!💎🔥💎🔥

Ps: I know the word is Pareidolia but I always say Pareidonia a word I invented by combining Pareidolia with Paranoia 😂😂😂 since it's always pareidolia that causes my paranoia😂😂😂

fishing net sinkers were decorated with faces wearing headdress hats .. the darker side has a side profile of a face wearing a headdress hat for sure in my op ...possible net sinkers when you find the holes .. they used all sizes of sinkers .. big rocks on the bottom of the nets but smaller ones tied to various locations where needed.. just a thought and possible use as well.. peace

Yes good point on the sinker!!! Plummets were often ceremonial as fishing weights or stone sinkers are just utilitarian....maybe it acted as a duel function as a like bothe an amulant and plummet .... whatever the case it must have been a huge part of there over all belief systems...because these tools that are ceremonial are usually found in matching pairs purposely cached or buried ritually at crossing sights and natural springs within the stream ...this is an ancient practice going back even into stone age and proto Celtic sights in the UK ..I have several fishing weights in the glass case or possibly loom weights ....but there shaped almost like modern pyramid shaped fishing weights but with a grove running around entire center of weight to tIe down......I just thinks it's pretty cool that the profile of the little one matches the actual life size tool perfectly

Yes I understand 😁 my question is more anthropological, why do I have many sinkers that are just plain and not decorated and why are there these special ceremonial ones they call plummets ....is it in relation to a spirit or god is it to help bring luck while fishing is it a Representation of a deity this figure depicted on the fishing weights .....a lot of these traditions have just been past down...but the place I found this is a natural hot spring and it seems offerings were being left at the spring ....because most of the artifacts are found deposited in matching pairs and there extremely ornate too ornate for like everyday utilitarian tools...it's almost impossible to figure out spiritual practices of lost cultures can only try to make guesses.... It's all very interesting though seeing the same practice of leaving tools as offerings at natural springs in North America as the same practice of leaving artifacts at springs is a practice seen in stone age europe as well. I appreciate your time and knowledge!!
