Hey there thanks for the info. Not sure if you’ll read this .. but I want to say… do your best to stay inspired…. I can empathize with the excitement from finding these types of things, it seems you reach a level of enthusiasm then sorta hit a wall, everything has its seasons, I suppose. I hope you do find that what you believe to be true…. I believe you will..and are able to make a difference in the world around you.(Protecting these places from people or subdivisions) I am guessing……

I'm going to be putting up a few videos that go through individual sets of artifacts in detail and explain different time periods very shortly thank you for your support and your time!!💯🙏💯...I will do my best moving forward and hope to get better equipment when the Budget permits 😜😁

Too hard to tell, but majority of your "finds" look like regular rocks. Not surprising. The pick. Regular rock. They never found giants in any graves. Go research the actual archaeology reports. They are out there for free. You will find no giants. Map stone? Bro, learn something.

fishing net sinkers were decorated with faces wearing headdress hats .. the darker side has a side profile of a face wearing a headdress hat for sure in my op ...possible net sinkers when you find the holes .. they used all sizes of sinkers .. big rocks on the bottom of the nets but smaller ones tied to various locations where needed.. just a thought and possible use as well.. peace

Yes good point on the sinker!!! Plummets were often ceremonial as fishing weights or stone sinkers are just utilitarian....maybe it acted as a duel function as a like bothe an amulant and plummet .... whatever the case it must have been a huge part of there over all belief systems...because these tools that are ceremonial are usually found in matching pairs purposely cached or buried ritually at crossing sights and natural springs within the stream ...this is an ancient practice going back even into stone age and proto Celtic sights in the UK ..I have several fishing weights in the glass case or possibly loom weights ....but there shaped almost like modern pyramid shaped fishing weights but with a grove running around entire center of weight to tIe down......I just thinks it's pretty cool that the profile of the little one matches the actual life size tool perfectly

Yes I understand 😁 my question is more anthropological, why do I have many sinkers that are just plain and not decorated and why are there these special ceremonial ones they call plummets ....is it in relation to a spirit or god is it to help bring luck while fishing is it a Representation of a deity this figure depicted on the fishing weights .....a lot of these traditions have just been past down...but the place I found this is a natural hot spring and it seems offerings were being left at the spring ....because most of the artifacts are found deposited in matching pairs and there extremely ornate too ornate for like everyday utilitarian tools...it's almost impossible to figure out spiritual practices of lost cultures can only try to make guesses.... It's all very interesting though seeing the same practice of leaving tools as offerings at natural springs in North America as the same practice of leaving artifacts at springs is a practice seen in stone age europe as well. I appreciate your time and knowledge!!

I found a red rock that is about 8.5" by 5.5" flat, rounded, in kind of a kidney shape, that looks like it has been shaped. It also looks like the red color on what I am guessing is the top surface has been dyed or enhanced. Not sure right now but I am guessing it is corundum. It looks like there are very shallow concave areas on the top surface that could have been used to sharpen blades. My first thoughts when finding this thing is it was a ritual rock used to sharpen blades for a battle or sacrifice and that the enhanced color might be from using blood as a sharpening lubricant. Not sure of anything except that it is most probably an artifact used by ancients. I will try to find a way to send you pictures.

It may have been heated as well when the aluminum oxide gets heat treated in certain ways the colors can be significantly enhanced..I've found many native artifacts with red pigment most likely some sorta of mercury based element likes cinnabar was used in the red staining process if it were blood it would have oxidize in to iron at this point but it's significant that others are finding tools potentially made from corundum...it's fascinating because it's still used to this day for the same industrial purposes for polishing for cutting hard objects like stone for cutting metal all these tools utilize aluminum oxide so the ancients were really knowledgeable with material science especially when it came to stone working ...anyways 🙏 for sharing and ty for your time ...it seems you've found a crescent shaped corundum artifact possibly ....the crescent is a significant shape for artifacts especially during the paleolithic...I believe they even refer to these shapes artifacts as Paleo Crescent . Although the use for them is not fully known I've found a beautiful crescent shaped color changing sapphire it's been manipulated slightly but I've found naturally crescent shaped corundum as well .. it's a giant rough gemstone really..but the kidney shape is something I see often in corundum I think it's attempting to form a barrel shaped and there's something like a silicate that's intruding upon the oxygen bubble the aluminum oxide is forming in like a piece of quartz or a hunk of Micah was sitting in the bottom and this thing was trying to form its natural barrel but that intrusion interrupted it so you get this kidney shape... And it will be denser than quartz It will color shift under certain light It won't leave a mark on a tile if you scrape it across the tile these are all quick little tests to see you know how hard the rock is. But I find these quarry sites and all the tools and hammers are made out of this really hard rough sapphire obviously this material would make great hammers, pics and chisels as well as points just very hard to work with they were using abrasion to shape this material rather than flaking because of how robust of a material corundum is...I think it could make great plates/cookware because you could throw them into heat they take heat extremely well I have one that's like shaped almost like a little frying pan so definitely sounds like you're onto something 😁😁

1:22 I’m not the only one? I feel like I see arrowheads and tools all the time around my yard and by the river ever since I found a handful of items over a couple of years. My back yard was an archaeological excavation in the in 1969 (Bear Swamp Site I & Site II in Berkley, MA) and the land had been plowed for centuries so there are artifacts strewn all about throughout the area and my yard. I actually found a stone bowl which I was told dates back from between 8,000-12,000 years ago! I wish I was more knowledgeable on identifying stone tools

I'd be cool with 100 per carat is that shooting to high you think? Gemstones whether it be semi,or precious really isn't my specialty, I collect and study meteorites,since I was 5 years old I'm 43 now. Space rocks I can speak on,but these gemstones would only make me look stupid because I know nothing about the market . I actually acquired this collection in a barter that a guy traded me 10,000 carats of rough rubies ,sapphires ,and diamonds,some topaz to. I've had them set aside for 15 years or so .

@happylostsouls3327 Ай бұрын
Possibly it was a though because lapis can form near igneous inclusions and metamorphic areas that contact limestone the main problem with it being lapis is it's not as hard and I also find it mainly in yellows more then blues in my area...you are correct 💯 though not all my blue rock are sapphire or aluminum oxide some are agates or micro quartzites some may even be extremely rare garnets as the area I live has always been rich with garnets....some maybe lapiz..but because many of the sapphire in my area has sheening it really will look like lapiz...the sheening is caused by exposure to hematite as the aluminum oxide forms..some of the blue material I have is way softer in the are of agates and possibly lapis so I'm not discounting this either ... Wish I had an XRF gun lol 😂😂😂 thanks for your time!!!💯

I'm not a geologist or gemologist by trade I can maybe give u rough idea.. but I recommend finding a local rock shop also ..hardness is a Great indicator for testing as well as geological surveys most gemstones exist where metamorphic rock is exposed ....there's also some good apps that help identify by picture it's really hard though to tell someone by picture exactly what they have...but u can do scratch tests on tile or buy some cheap hardness detectors u can also use a pan to find garnets and rubies because there gravity is heavier then most silicates .....

Thanks very educational wish I was a bit closer than Troutdale, Oregon....very nice, I've been learning about this stuff for only a couple years but wow nice collection, that ruby or corundum the red one beeped yeah? ok some of the yellow got real close to 10 also very cool...I should get one of those little hardness/diamond tester's...I've got so many rock and a gem light and I've found some stuff in the Snake in S. Idaho and S. Oregon and appreciate you sharing....wow that's just really cool to see all these Native/Viking? ah all the animals you mentioned are common in clans and tales yes they are...yes I saw that huge gem field on the USGS Min. data and google earth search that shows the space imaging and I don't understand it fully...I'm in the same boat but I would definitely be interested, I've got a nice chunk of fossil coral and our ranch outside John Day, Oregon, we found...the family when they got there on covered wagons collected hundreds of arrowheads and tools and unfortunately the heirs outvoted us to sell it so what a loss...it hit hard but I couldn't do anything about it even though I tried to get them into growing medical up there before we went rec. and all my friends were making at least a quarter mill. a year depending on how big their op. was, but they were paranoid they'd lose it...but they did anyways. but Happylostsouls27...I'd like to get some for my cousin's kids as he is native to the area and they can have something from their dad's tribe or one of the few he was....survived cancer twice, 6'4" and then corona got him...he was in amazing shape and was a tree trimmer for PGE and anyone would take him cause he was amazing at his job and qualified to work with tree's on power lines anyways I'd love to get one of your specimen's from back East, some of my Snow family were on the ol' Mayflower...and we've bloodlines from The Holy Land to Rome, Sicily, Africa, he was native, I thought I was until the test but that was just my grandma who's 93 and neither of my folks did a comprehensive enough one to show the African or any Native at all, when I was clean shaven I looked like according to my Lakota medicine women/blanket wife, she thought I was a half breed and said that her first son's father was very Nordic and I have mostly Nordic blood, Dutch, German is the main one, and Scott-Irish and some ol' Viking blood with my cousin whose a Galloway is over 7. feet tall...anyways great stuff from Philly, I's love to buy something to support your continuation of collection of artifacts and uncut stones they are quite fascinating...Ok take care sorry for the long message recovering from TBI's is a tough one....the brain is amazing if you keep it free of fluoride and heavy metals and the liver and pancreas anyways...happy hunting and hope you find the source and come up with a great gem quality ruby that'll set ya for life or a collector or a wealthy tribe??? Ok Peace
