Ill never use aliexpress/alibaba again. I ordered 5 rc rtr cars and after taking my money 3 never shipped and held my money for months b4 refund. Then the remote reciever i got was broken. And 1 cheap rc came. Bad biz.

LOL you hammered that thing at the skate park. The managers at the HBX must have been doin high fives and taking victory laps after watching that car take the beat down and still come back for more. After your 1603 review which seriously one of the best R/C car purchases I have ever made and now eyeing this. You do good reviews people should take note. Wonder if that motor in this car is available separately, might do well regeared in a WPL truck.

same HBX with a different body, drifts like a bandit with 800mah LiPo. no gyro, its just AWD no diffs, and well balanced front+rear, great quality. put a 1/18 ProLine C7 Vette body onto my older one. edit: same chassis, can adjust camber all 4 corners, and front toe. friction damping it comes with is excellent, springs are only a little on the stiff side but good, clip off 1/4 turn from each at one end for some slight body roll.

It’s not that fast (final speed) but it is quick and drifts like crazy , easy to handle. I love mine so much. Nice durability test. Didn’t expect it would handle the jumps and Skate park bashing so well. It is getting traction but still way underrated this hbx 2188a roc car.

That's one tough little mother , and good looking to boot , think I prefer the sg brushless infraction mini me but one would expect it to be better at twice the price , and yes Phil watching thi video mix with a slight concussion has made me very dizzy ,I'm going to lie down now lol

I would put more gripper tires on it and I would put some micro brushless items on it, I bet with those upgrades you could go 30 mph

Sticking in a 370 motor & a bit taller gearing could probably wake this up decently. Should be the same esc as the hbx 1:18th scale monster truck id imagine besides the now built in gyro amperage wise. Does it have ball bearings btw ? Also what is the track width ? As you might be able too stick on some hpi 1:18th scale micro rs4 bodies onto this if you want too get a different body on there.

Both really good! You can do a bit more of the rough stuff with the SGs.... you need nice smooth ground for this

Not seen any spares yet. But HBX are pretty good for spares. Not checked what Hex size it is yet

I have the 1:16 scale hoonitruck from banggood, but I have a feeling I should change it to RWD for better drifting experience. Idk if that's the way to go
