Hey everyone! I just realized a quick trick to make this more performant. If you add in a math node set to "divide" and set the top value to 40,000 and plug the "amount" value from your group input into the bottom slot you can use the math node's output as the density value on your "distribute points on faces" node. This makes the effect work much better at very large and small "amount" values, though you should also set the minimum value for your amount input to 1 so you don't accidentally set your point density too high. Hope this helps!
