You can control the color of your image transfer backgrounds so that your image transfers can show even white on dark substrates! This method opens up a whole list of things we can do with image transfers! This video will demonstrate an awesome new image transfer technique where you control your own color background.

I have purchased some 8.5 x 11 transfer paper from you. Do you have 11 x 17 or larger size transfer paper for laser printer?

Sorry no. It's hard enough to make the 8.5 x 11. Even if I had the space and capacity to do other sizes (which I don't have), there is not enough demand for other sizes to justify having to order larger shipping packages, pay much higher shipping fees (since larger packages require it), etc. etc. Besides, I don't recommend doing large transfers. Even the 8.5 x 11 if you make full page transfers requires you be spot on in how you apply the glue, press and dry. More area means greater chance of having little boo-boos.

Idk but I'll be watching some of ur videos. Happy to come across ur video. What r u using to transfer?? Need a easy way over the rub off crap that never comes clear or even nice. Love to do decor signs but anymore tired of the mess n rubbing. N I refuse to buy a cricut

The paper is called RixCanDoIt Quick Transfer paper. NO RUBBING! Moisten and peel.

I was just wondering why you didn’t just tape off and paint a white rectangle on the drawer and put the regular transfer on the white rectangle? It’s pretty cool that it worked the way you did it though.

Couple of reasons. For one, it is easier to cut to size the image than having to make sure you paint the correct shape and size on the wood first. Another reason is if you have odd shapes rather than a simple rectangle. You could cut around the image itself which would not be practical trying to paint that odd shape in white first on the substrate. And another reason is that if you paint the substrate white first, you do risk pulling parts of it off by gluing on top of it rather than under the white, which is what you do when the transfer paper itself is painted. :-)

Would it be possible to use another color than white? If I have a two tone logo, I can use the major color for the background instead of white?

You can use any color you like. Just keep in mind that whatever color you use is going to be your background and will show up through any 'white' parts of your image since your printer likely does not print white (uses the paper color for that).
