London MFC Baldock. I worked in Baldock and watching the aircraft at that field brought back fond memories. Now living in Crete Greece and belonged to flying club at Maleme.

That Connie was landing at Mach 0.9 scale speed. 😀 But good job building and flying it!👍 Scale speed is impossible unless the model is super light weight, of course. A 1:20 scale Connie, 5 to 6 feet long, would have a scale cruising speed of about 15 mph, and land at 6 to 7 mph.

Where do I start ? That Albatros , sweet....RAF Tiger Moth on grass , just like watching the real thing and the Lysanders , fantastic! Amusing , warp speed Super Connie, flying faster than the Concord model , I reckon 😆😆😂 A great pleasure watch all these fantastic models, happy landings. Cheers Pete

along wit h their great ability to fly these awesome machine is the absolute perfection they build the scale replica's . best I've built is gluing two Popsicle sticks together. it didn't last. love this stuff, color me no talent

Many people just dumb thumb through the "quicker happenings" of control-responses that are desperately needed "between" turbulence and even bounces. In seeing those "quick" well-versed responses here, It's an easy read that these pilots are quite adept. Even the poorer of the landings here show the coolness of "The-Landing-Fight"; Jus a little Tussle! lol And wow By the way for the 2-inline 4-wheeled L-4 is it? No ground looping!!!!! Nice fix!

any landing in one piece is awesome in my book joe - hence the title - lol plus some of these guys are flying big models in not so nice conditions (you had to be there) so thats another reason for the title

I saw a bunch of multi-flair near crashes, high speed bouncing, and terrible ground control, followed buy 1 average landing. "Awesome" may not be the best description!

Where did the quad wheeled plane come from? Is that or was that ever a real option for that plane? That is extremely interesting and I’d love to see more of it.

tbobborap1 is this a legit suspension thing? Because I have tried finding this all over the Internet and I can’t find anything about this. Is this just a moderate his guy made for his particular RC plane or is this a legit landing gear for this airplane? I’m very interested in this because this has got my wheels sort of speak rolling and I’m thinking about making modifications to my RC planes. But I want to find out the backstory of the Quad wheels first

@0:59 (and a bit previous)... I've never seen a Dual Main Gear on a Taylorcraft. Is there someone who can provide some Reference?

That's a Piper L4 Grasshopper. The dual main wheel config was invented for rough terrain landings.

I still see some guys hoofing in the rudder at high speed after landing. This is not good practice and shouldn't be copied.
