Hello I use dolibarr since 2021 and I like it a lot . Is it possible to run dolibarr on a qnap container station with docker. So that I can establish mulituser access?

I used it when I was on my own compagny and it sill run after 3 years after I stopped cause it still has stock quatity and all for stuff I kept. I see they added a lot of fonctionnality for management. It's an awesome software but I used it on windows instead of docker

There are a lot of open source task apps / todo lists, but not sure about the notification side of them. I know there were some telegram bots for todo-lists, but I haven't seen anything recently...so not sure they are maintained, or work anymore.

Unfortunately, I'm not an ERP expert of any kind. Not even an ERP user. I just show you how to install and get the software running in the case of ERP.

How do i create a persistence volume in the docker-compose file? I'm getting issues with this image.

There should be a section named "volumes", and you can add a mapping between a directory on the host machine and the directory you want to persist inside the container.

@@AwesomeOpenSource Thank you for responding, much appreciate it. I did try to map it but i got a 404 error on the frontend. I dug deep and saw the config.php. After opening the file, i think it doesn't allow volume mapping or inputting custom volume location but I'm not sure what that config is for so did not change anything.

I'm afraid not. If those don't provide Docker environments, then you may need to switch providers, or get a DigitalOcean, or Linode VPS.

I think you misunderstand. I don't deploy Dolibarr. I only show you how to deploy it for yourself. I don't know that Dolibarr offers a cloud hosted offering.

@@RobH1986 How far are you in the video? You may need to do docker rm dolibarr_web_1 (or something similar) and docker rm dolibarr_db_1 (or something similar) to get rid of a bad start, and just run it again. I also fix a few things throughout the video. If you go to the Shownotes link in the description, I have the final .yml for docker-compose posted there.

I have gone back and tried from the beginning with a clean ubuntu server install and just can't get passed this. I'm sure I've missed something somewhere but can't fathom what it is?! This is way way way too complicated. Nobody is going to use this in a SME. Just ain't gonna happen. The best ERP I've seen is FrontAccounting, and that has issues too.
