Hello, I'm Brazilian and well, I don't know if I can speak for all of us (Latinos and Brazilians), but yes, as a Brazilian girl born and raised here I can confirm to you that since we were little we've been raised and witnessed a lot of affection between our peers, including, even at the time of introductions, it's extremely common for us (Brazilians) when we greet someone, to shake hands and touch the other person's face and make a loud kissing sound. We have such an affectionate culture that it can sometimes seem strange to you foreigners (or gringos, as Brazilians call non-Brazilians hahaha). Edit: Sorry about my English, in case there are any grammar mistakes, my English is very basic. 😅
