School uniforms in Brazil are mainly white t-shirts (with the name of the school) and blue shorts. The colors might change, but not the T-shirt and shorts. If it's cold, they let you wear your own pants and/or jackets/sweatshirts, but the school tshirt is mandatory! Not very cute or fashionable but it's comfortable. ☺️

As a guy having lived in Russia for last 5 years, that's actually the old Soviet era uniform, now they wear it only during the graduation after 9th. In russia theres no 12th. I might be wrong but so far that's what my local friends said.

As a Russian myself i can say that this photo is incorrect to use when talking about modern uniform, because nobody wears it daily already. This type of uniform can be seen only on graduation day as some kind of a tribute to tradition (but i know not so much people who would like to wear it these days. I graduated 4 years ago, and only one girl from two classes actually was dressed in it) or, as someone in this video noticed, when said it looks 'sexy', it may be used in specific genre of movies as a fetish 🙁

am from Kenya, I can relate but our uniforms depends on one's religion and belief, and sometimes depends on how you anger your parents especially your mum, and other times the type of school you are in. most private schools in Kenya their uniforms are similar to that of UK and China, while public schools are very strict on the length of the uniform and sometimes looks buggy for both genders

I am from India and at that from a small village in Himachal and we had skirts not long ones ..you can decide for yourself the length as long as it wasn't too short ...we girls used to fold our skirts so much 🤣

A lot of the British school uniforms not consist of a “kilt”/black trousers, tank top, tie and blazer having moved on from black skirts and jumpers. Still the girls seem to roll their skirts to make them shorter! The second uk uniform on this video was very specific to one school and I think from Christ’s Hospital School in Horsham, I used to know someone who went there!

I'm also an Indian but tbh our school uniform was like the uk one, the only difference was the length of skirt. It should be atleast till knee...

In Norway we do not have any school uniforms. It was a debate about if we were gonna have them or not, but it ended up with a no for the uniforms. They wanted to allow people to express themselves through clothes. We are and were very happy about that.

That's exactly what comes to my mind when I think of Indian school uniforms. For the private ones at least. I had to wear a white shirt, a knee-length skirt, white/grey stockings and shorts. But different schools have different uniform styles. The uniform category is kinda diverse. We've got salwar-kameez, skirts, pants and tunic uniforms. There are co-ed schools who have adopted unisex uniforms too which is basically boys uniform worn by girls.

Different schools in India have different uniforms. In my school in India we don't have skirt, we wear a shirt inside along with a tunic dress on it. We have Salwar, skirt shirt, skirt pant dresses and even sarees. In some schools In some schools in India both girls and boys were shirt and pant.

India is like too diverse to put in any category I mean In my school we have pants no skirts and in the government school and college people can wear their tribal attire. And different parts have different uniform.btw I'm from northeast so there are many tribes

In my country, showing thigh is considered sexual (traditionally and colonialists era) so very rarely do uniforms for girls have short skirts/dresses . So knee length school uniform are the norm. Nowadays it's not that strict but there's a limit. I also don't know what obsession the colonialists here had with the colour brown but regardless of what uniform colour is dominant, e.g red, blue, green, purple etc there is always khaki or brown somewhere

Africa is a continent so there’s different types of cultures,religions,races, and etc. Africa isn’t just poor but there’s rich side to it aswell, there’s a new and old side to it like every single country in the world but people focus on the poor. The whole African continent doesn’t look like that, and it ISNT a country. There’s many different countries inside of Africa, you guys could’ve shown those cultural instead of poor photos to place as a image of the whole country

I'm hurt by the African uniform one. How come that was the only uniform from Africa? We are so diverse and my uniforms have never looked like that ever and I've lived in several different countries there. Like in Zimbabwe there is also hats apart of the uniform with every school and in South Africa most schools have blazers. I just wish you'd shown more of the different uniforms we have

All I can say is shame on you for still having ignorant thoughts about my country Kenya and Africa as a whole. Another thing , I never heard you mentioning one country to represent the whole of the other continents, and by the way we are more woke ,educated and open-minded. So as you show your nice uniforms from private schools you need to know that we have good schools, both public and private schools. I am from India and our school uniform is a navy blue t-shirt paired with navy blue denim jeans for summer, and for winter we wear a dark blue hoodie over the t-shirt also paired with the blue denim jeans. I would say India has many types of uniforms varying from salwar suit(the traditional style), to shirts, t-shirts,skirts, jeans, dress etc.

I wonder why it had to be that uniform for the only African country listed. It just emphasizes the ' Africa is a bush, poor, it's population is starving etc' narrative. You can't know the actual African Continent without doing your own researches or better travelling accross it. The Myanmar school uniform shown here aren't the majority uniform. That's a "monk school type" uniform which is 1/2% only. Green Pants/wraparound & white shirt is kind of the official school uniform colour in Myanmar. The same colour pattern is sometimes worn by the teachers too.

From the state I come from india we usually have skirts and t-shirts for girls till 8th or 10th grade (depending on school) and from 9th or 11th u will wear salwar kamiz but do not have dupata but vascit, but a few have dupata but majority do not guys usually have white shirt with school logo and long pants ( adult guys and short pants for kids) and in winter it's full pants, we usually have coats in winters (like one u see in dark academia and old english movies) and the facts that girls can too shift to boys dress code in winters or anytime its do not matter. Plus we have uniform like china for both girls and boys but we only wear that on staurday and Wednesday (some schools it's only Saturday) we say it house dress actually u are arranged in certain houses assigned by school of different colour, like u are red, u are yellow, u are blue and u are green we most of the time have these 4 major house and teacher assign us in which house we want to be in

In my school we also had a separate PE (Games) dress which was a T shirt and trousers for both boys and girls. And if you're the part of sports team then you can wear small shorts (for both boys and girls) but you have to change it before practice you can't just wear it in class.

School uniforms are not used in Scandinavia 😊 Sweden has a few schools who use them. Personally I had never seen a person where one.

I like your channel, but I'm a little disappointed that you didn't find accurate information about school uniforms in Russia, you just inserted the first photo from Google. In Russia, no one has been wearing such a uniform for a long time. We go in uniform only to the graduation of the 9th and 11th grades as a tribute to tradition, but even then she does not look as depraved as in this photo. My school uniform the skirts had to cover your knees, we had to wear three quarters sleeves, a tie and a waistcoat ( vest ), the shoes had to be plain black with no added anything and navey blue or black socks and your hair had to be comb in plats of no more than three. All this clothing in the tropical heat.

In the Philippines, there are so many types of uniform. Every school in every region and provinces differs. There is no specific type of school uniform in the country.

Well... We don't wear such uniform in Russia. Actually we don't have specific uniform at all... Usually we just need to fit in special color palette. Like in my first school we should have been wearing pink and grey. And in my current school we can wear black or dark blue and white. That's all. You can wear dresses, skirts, trousers or jeans as long as you fit in color palette.

It's not Myanmar school uniform. Myanmar school uniform is traditional form with white and green. The picture shows kids who practice buddism at monestry.

Some 미국 public schools have uniforms too. For some it's issued by the school but for others they tell you what colors/fabrics/styles are approved and if you don't wear it they have really ugly sets of sweatpants and shirts that you have to change into. For example in Long Beach, California 미국 my kids have to wear black bottoms of any kind except: leggings, short skirts, ripped up jeans. For tops, they can be red, blue, white, black or grey. But they can't have logos, patterns, no crop tops, no spaghetti straps or sleeveless. Students can have some individuality. They mainly do this because gangs in our area have certain colors associated with them. Fights between gang members would happen at school when they saw someone wearing rival gang colors. The high schools also have metal detectors and we live in a pretty nice area. They're in middle school now, I'm really worried about 2 years from now.

For my school in the US the uniform was just some cakey pants and a navy blue or white collared shirt. Jackets had to be the navy blue or white as well and they did not allow you to have any sort or logos or patterns on them. This applies to both boys and girls. But in high school we get to wear whatever we wanted to. For example you could even wear pj's to school. I've even seen some people with slippers on and at one point some girl decided that it would be good day to wear a swimsuit to school. It's pretty crazy over here.😅

in my us school, we have a light blue collared shirt with buttons, and navy blue pants. girl have a choice to wear pants or skirt, but i prefer pants. we also can choose our shoes and socks, just we can’t wear mary janes.

The thing about Hijabs/Tudung, women/girls don't wear it at home if they are with thier household members. They wear it when there is a visitor or they're going out. I'm a little bit disappointed that Singapore's school uniform isn't included but we have too many school uniforms for all different schools so, I'm sure you guys can't choose one to represent our country.

9:35 That navy blue one looks almost identical to my high school’s uniform in the US😂 I went to an all girls Catholic high school. The top half is exactly the same but the skirts were pleated and I think 90% of students would get the bottom of the skirt hemmed so it would be at the knees or a little bit above the knees. Ours had pockets in the skirt as well and many students would have them altered and line the pockets with a fun patterned fabric so it would be like a peekaboo design

The american one shocked me, that must be an EXPENSIVE private school! I also went to a private school but ours weren't nearly that nice, it was your normal white shirts and plaid skirts or blazers with plain slacks for the guys. It's a bit amusing now that I think about it, because in America plaid is incredibly common in girl school uniforms but you rarely ever see anything but solid colors in the boys.

In Brazil, it is not a rule to have a uniform. I attended a school that was not mandatory, just for celebrations. After a while, they made uniforms which were a white T-shirt with an embroidery of the name of the institution and the name of the student on the back.
