I've mentioned to you all before how I badly needed to start learning how to cook!! Well, in this premiere installment of Awkward Adventures, I not only go on a quest to learn how to cook, I also decide to test my skills in a Cooking Competition!! This was definitely a venture outside my comfort zone!!

Does anyone else dream to have friends like Thomas' friends? Like, they're so comfortable around each other, and they are willing to come over to Thomas, no matter what he asks for. It's beautiful and harmonious, and I love it

KittyKittyCuddle :P it’s from a really good musical based on a movie from 1989 called Heathers. Thomas actually played one of the main characters, JD, in a version of it. That’s a line in a song that JD sings in a song called “Freeze Your Brain”. I recommend listening to it but if you’re young I wouldn’t recommend listening to Dead Girl Walking, Blue, or Blue reprise. Also if you’re sensitive to death I wouldn’t recommend listening to it.

You mentioned in your 'Way Too Adult' video that you struggle with removing spiders and bugs from your house. You could try going to a zoo or somewhere that has a bug house and see if you can handle it. Some zoos even offer sessions where you can hold certain creepy crawlies, so if you really felt like it you could do that too! I'm sure your friends would love that too! ...Maybe not.

Quick tip: when chopping herbs don't over do it. If you leave a green patch behind on the chopping board, it means you have gone too far. A lot of the flavour is lost and the final dish won't be as tasty. Great video looking forward to this series!

A random baking related tip: When making a cake crack 3 or 4 eggs into a jug and weigh them then use an equivalent weight of sugar, butter, and flour. This gives you a perfectly light sponge. Also for a chocolate cake take 1-2 taplespoons of flour out and replace it with the same amount of cocoa powder.

When you cut cilantro (or any herb) you can set the strips together in a lil row, then twist them together like rope and then fold it in half. If you hold the ends and then start chopping at the rounded side of the fold it makes it way easier. My aunt taught me and it blew my mind.

Question- is Thomas ambidextrous? I've noticed him using both hands for fine motor skill tasks like writing and chopping things, although the swapping around of hands may just be as he switched between characters I know that Logan definitely uses his left hand for note taking
