Um, he was agreeing with me. And mike is highly intelligent. His success is unprecedented and that says it all.
@GeneralZod99
@GeneralZod99 9 жыл бұрын
Erica Gaines I guess we have a different standard of "intelligence". Please enlighten me on his unprecedented success. You forget that I am a fan of Tyson, but to call him intelligent is absurd. Is it intelligent to use "big words" completely out of context over and over again? Is it intelligent to lose all of your money? Is it intelligent to say that you are going to eat someone's children? It is intelligent to be used by Don King and Robin Givens? Is it intelligent to take a woman into your hotel room late at night when you know all of the predators out there looking to get a piece of what you have? Is it intelligent to bite a man's ear _twice_ out of frustration? He was arguably the best heavyweight boxer of all time when he was in his prime. Smart? Don't think so.

From watching a lot of interviews and conversations with Tyson, it seems that people perceive him to be simple and attempt to take advantage of him. I think this is largely due to his slight lisp/tone of voice. I think Tyson is actually extremely sharp like you say, he knows when people are attacking his persona snd deals with it in a declarative way not giving away anything. He’s an interesting man, I respect him

Charles Calthrop He may not have wrote it but it was written based off of his thoughts, feelings and experiences... I seriously doubt if anything was made up... If anything there were things either downplayed or slightly embellished for the benefit of the audience...His job is not to reveal too much while generating intrigue for those who might at least be curious enough to buy it... It is your choice to buy it or not to... Honestly because of his general past tendency to say too much in this type of environment he seems to purposely censor himself... He doesn't like interviews... Never has... He is doing this because he has to not because he wants to... I know most people are annoyed that he has celebrity status but he earned it as the youngest and arguably most dynamic heavyweight boxing champion ever... Maybe you're annoyed... I don't know... @24 7 yea but it's jail there's gangs it's not always 1v1 and not always just fists either. Being a boxer doesn't mean you ain't gonna get touched. Mike was loved by everyone that's why he was alright.

Every interview I watch with Mike as the guest, seema as if every interviewer always tries to poke the beast. I remember one interview, the interviewer askes Mike if his previous rape charge would push some fans/viewers away. You could see Mike mentally telling himself to kill this fool with words instead of physically doing it.

Mike is a very intelligent person I recently watched his interview with Eminem and Mike told him boxing is more mentally hard it's a thinking man's sport, the way he explained it was really cool and it changed how I view boxing and it really makes me realize how great he was and how he was the absolute best at one time and he earned it and he paid a heavy price for his kindness
