Did I really just see that?" But was thinking of Mike AFTER he stopped fighting and BEFORE the wrong people found out that his small appearances in whatever is actually really drawing some impressive and positive feedback. It seems people all over the world just love Mike Tyson.

Seriously one of the most interesting human beings alive. His career in boxing, the amount of pain, loss and suffering he’s been dealt. The path he has taken to get some inner peace. He is seriously like a living yin yang. Volatile and potentially violent as a killer, but peaceful and kind to those that just want to hear him. He hid it well and used Intimidation to mask his own insecurities! Tyson feared Evander Holyfield and he got his soul taking by Holyfield!! I think people truly underestimate Mike’s intelligence. Maybe because he boxed and came from a bad area in Brooklyn people thought he was a dumb kid. Truth be told the guy is brutally honest, speaks his mind and is probably smarter then most interviewers who are asking the questions. When i was a kid i loved Mike. Still do. But whenever he spoke I assumed he wasn’t that smart because of how he talked, mispronounced words or said some stuff completely outta pocket. Wasn’t until i was a grown man that I realized he’s one of the most honest, wisest knowledgeable men ive ever seen.

Super facts. I guess the PR wasn’t that good and the media wanted him seen in a certain light early on obviously for the sake of his career but that stigma stuck. Only now have people started to catch on to his intelligence. I mean if you go back and watch all his interviews you can see young Mike was too sharp for his age/background and had the flash of wit that was buried under the ruble of bad media and influence.

Started doin the blow and cussed out every interviewer doing their job. turned a lot of people off, especially the old school whites that watched this humble, lovable kid that was already better than every full grown man in the sport. Sang his praises from the beginning then were hurt and embarrassed when he went full bad guy. Those are the ones that changed their tune and always say how dumb he was at that point.

My name is Shawn and i was a huge Evander Holyfield fan growing up and i told anyone who would listen that Holyfield would beat Tyson! Most people laughed but i was proven correct!! Those same people who laughed, said how did u know that. My answer was simple, because Holyfield was not afraid of Mike and Mike knew it!!! It stripped Tyson of his intimidation which was his greatest asset... Tyson was a great fighter with a great skill set don't get me wrong but he was more beatable than people realized!!! Anyway my point was to say i couldn't stand Tyson growing up but i must say i have become a fan of his, he truly changed his life for the better and is a likable guy!!! Still don't think he is the angel some think he is nowdays but nevertheless lol... Good for you Mike Tyson!

I saw Tyson walking the beach in Newport a couple of months ago and he’s the best, most positive & polite person I’ve ever seen.
