What the emotional intelligence! He can identify and label different kinds of emotions, grade them, process them, and regulate his feelings. At 4 years old, that's mind-blowing.

The boy is fantastic but the Mom is over the top. What great and perfect responses she has for consoling and teaching her child what life is all about and what is expected. Only if more of the current generation could be as wise as this fantastic mother.

My much older sister raised me as a child. She would talk to us this way and even allow us to be very angry and have space instead of explaining in the moment of high upset. After I felt better or less angry, she would listen and respond as to why it’s so important for her to teach us - to help us with life bc she loves us and wants us to know the truth while we are young. It always ended with being held and loved on. The bonding and love that was felt from loving teaching and discipline was so deep I can never forget.

What an intelligent little boy and so rational. He is learning how to deal with it and understand. Something many parents don't take the time to do anymore. Maybe a reason there are "lost" kids who can't control their anger and do irrational and harmful things.

this is so amazing that he can name his emotions and how that made him feel and how much. I feel like most adults loose a skill like that because they say automatically that they are fine instead of reflecting their true feelings
