Having been around since the original Star Trek aired, and seeing Axanar first air on YT, this is what Trekkies want. This is how the series should be. Keeping the story alive with excitement, good visual effects and a good story line. Live long and prosper Axanar.

After I watched Prelude to Axanar, I realized that this could be the best installment of All of the Star Trek franchises. Roddenberry is smiling... 👍☺👍

When the hell will CBS realise THIS is what Star Trek not only NEEDS to be, but what it SHOULD be. I've never seen a better Star Trek story, so much lore and back story you likely have another 20 years of Trek in it.

Richard Hatch was probably one of the most underrated actors of our time, I wish he wasn't stolen from us so early by such an insidious disease.

The story telling is so good it feels like a Documentary type of history lesson. It's HISTORY CHANNEL DOCUMENTARY good, THAT is just how good this is. So Awesome! I watch it over and over.

Hatch really brought the story to life with his story-telling. Who will take his place? That will be a hard casting right there.

Absolutely wonderful... Much from the classic series is paid Homage to.. tony todd is wonderful and it's great to see the actor who played General Martaxk from ds9... The visual effects are stunning to say the least..... And of course the great late richard hatch is so believable in his role... Salute to you sir..!!!...This is what trek fans need... A Great story and an onsamble cast... Ty for posting.!!

CBS is scared of this, so they went and set the franchise on fire with Discovery so they wouldn't need to deal with this. Absolutely deplorable move on CBS' part, and an outstanding move on your part. Axanar is true Trek.

This is like my 10th time watching this, it never gets old. Can't wait for the part 2...

As a fan of original STAR TREK series, I love that Trekkies and Trekkers are, by and large, "true believers". That's because Gene Roddenberry was a true believer in humanity and its potential by creating a show that spoke to and inspired those who also want to see humanity create a better world and to move beyond its planetary cradle. I find it incredible that fans have not only supported the franchise through the decades but have kept its original intent alive by creating new material on their own. Not only that but many of the original actors and industry professionals have stepped up to keep Genes vision alive. I think STAR TREK has brought out the best of fandom. Thanks for keeping the dream alive...

I discovered this gem a few months ago and watch it daily. This is superb! The storyline, acting, score, graphics...all magnificent! Would love to see a prequel or sequel with those talented actors that are still with us, but if not, we have this beauty to admire!

I love this film. My only issue is that ORIGINALLY (1960's Trek), the Enterprise was constructed at the San Fransisco Naval Yards. "During the mid-23rd century, at least twelve Constitution-class starships, were commissioned by Starfleet. Construction of the starships occured at Earth's San Francisco Navy Yards, and Luna's Tranquility Base by 2245" Memory Alpha. Then Trek 2009 moves it's construction to...Riverside,Iowa? Now Axanar shows the Enterprise being built at Axanar. Alec. If you show a Conny being built at Axanar, I would make it the USS Constitution or Defiant.

Give this Team a show and a platform. Love how they brought back the old star trek actors, And the mix of new trek and tos visuals. Can't believe I never found this before.

This Axanar should be made a full movie. Even without any relation to Star Trek, I will watch this kind of quality storyline.

AXANAR is nothing less than better Star Trek than CBS has done so far. More intense than TNG Borg War, DS9 Dominion War, etc and an excellent perspective from opponents' strategic viewpoints.

yeah.. that DS9 episode was powerful, when i saw it, i was barely a teen , i wasn't old enough , but when i saw that ep as grown up 20 something... i had tears in my eyes, and have them every time i watch that ep..

Were the first two seasons of Enterprise garbage? Yes. But seasons 3 and 4 were SO GOOD,that if it weren’t for that douchbag Moonvez,it would’ve continued with seasons 5,6 and 7, (starting with the Romulan War in what would’ve been season 5) fulfill its promise and fill in the gap of storytelling between Archer and Kirk. Amazing how ONE MAN can destroy so much.just like this guy who made this-can make so much good from an idea.

This is freaking amazing, I am almost done watching Enterprise and this is just good as heck.

A perfect storm of amazing people and talent, creating real star trek, the star trek we have been craving sine the end of Enterprise. I wish the future of the franchise was in you hands my friend.

It was such a fantastic concept, and would have made for an equally great premise for a series, being highly action-packed. This would have drawn in large numbers of fans to watch it weekly, if CBS or the current owners of the Star Trek franchise hadn't killed it off.

Sci-Fi is the thinking man's drama. Not much emotion drives the plot, but it is acknowledged, it is more about reasoning to "we can make it all better than it is with out being Bad"

I cant get enough Axanar. Easily one of my favorite star trek works. Second only to Picard's First Contact. Its beautiful.

Such a shame that Richard Hatch will not be there. I think he made a good Klingon.

Is this Soval's finest hour? There should be many more to come, Mr. Graham, we would certainly hope. The Klingon battle cruisers appear to have the Beryllium hull, I noted. Nice touch. But when net neutrality stole the best part of playback away from the fans and gave it freely to the major entertainment companies, the world no longer had control of the players. The big guys have it, now.

The one flaw in this video is that it embraces the common misconception that superior technological capabilities is what determines victory. Shermans against Panzers and Tigers. Obsolete P-40 pursuit craft against Zeros and Kates. A fleet with almost no battleships... against the full might of the Japanese fleet. It's the tactics that make the difference. Making the most of what you have, but making the enemy fight on your terms.

My fave characters for some reason have always been Klingons. Kharn was the top. His love for his people and empire drove him to levels of excellence and daring that put him where he needed to be to defend his people in a time of great conflict .
