The medium fits my Hults Bruk Atrans felling axe nicely. Fits snug around the thickest part of the handle about 1" below the axe head, so doesn't rest directly on the axe head. A large would sit all the way down to the axe head. The atrans is their biggest, heaviest axe, but the medium, which I will use more with smaller axes/hatches, fits the others I have that I will carry around more often. That's why I have the medium.

Would be cool if it had an option where instead of rivots it had snaps to accommodate molly webbing on a pack

I was planning to make the same recommendation about snaps for mollie straps. In order to make that more sturdy the loop would need to be longer to slip thru more than one mollie strap too.

I am extremely happy with my recent purchase of your leather sheath and holster for my Husqvarna multi-purpose axe. The large holster fits the axe perfectly. For being a larger axe it sits very comfortably on my side and doesn't bump against the side of my leg as I walk. Im excited to go backpacking with it. Your custom sheath is a huge upgrade from the stock sheath provided with my axe. I highly recommend your products. If you appreciate detailed workmanship and high quality materials...look no further. I have a Coldsteel Axe Gang 90axg. Hawk Length is 5 inches. I think the length of the axe is 20 1/4 inches. What would be the best holster for my axe?

Hi , possibly the best axe holster in the market.I noticed the larger size holster is a bit darker even black.Is it just a variety or we should expect that colour if we order the larger one? i was getting a brown collar sheath for GB SFA and i'd not prefer a black holster to be honest.Cheers

If it was holding a sword it'd be called a 'frog'. You could work that into your business name, like 'ROG Frog' or something like that. Nice design, looks like a high quality product.

I have a suggestion, You and your dad should come up with something to add on to the holster to have a Molle attachment so if you don't want to belt carry your Hatchet you can attach it to the backpack, If you use my idea, I think I should get a couple heh heh heh.
