Exceptional! I really enjoyed seeing these 3 buggies compared. It really helps guide people when making a tough choice on what car to get. I'll be picking up a Lasernut soon and have just heard so much about it good and bad. There are 2 reasons that persuade me to buy the Lasernut. 1st it looks awesome. 2nd it handles well and is easy to drive. I'm not planning on sending it up jagged rock cliffs or anything like the Ryft. After watching your run footage I can see that the Losi struggles over the rough stuff compared to the Ryft. Thanks again. Excellent job. 👍🏁🏁🏁

Awesome! Thanks for the shout out Jason, very much appreciated! This video made me laugh as Liz first said you are a rubbish driver and then she did a perfect landing at 6min18sec, then again she did another unintentional roll and landed upright at 15min38sec. EPIC! haha. I also like what you did towards the end of the video having the Bomber chasing behind your kart, looks really cool. (ps. that was a nice black Honda Prelude by the gate). I have to say both Bomber and Lasernut look great with the lighting kit, hopefully the RYFT will also have something from after market, I have seen a video of it before the release of the RYFT back in January, but still have not seen it being available at my local hobby shop. Enjoy your "Three Musketeers", they are awesome!! You have a very good collection there. 😊

@@hellorc7678 yes, thanks Jason and Liz! The video is exactly how I pictured it, thanks for the direct side-by-side comparison of the 3 amazing rigs. 😊👍🏼 Oh, so you are the owner of that lovely Prelude, what an amazing car, it is beautiful and it is one of my favourite Honda. I remember when I was in school I used to have a silver Prelude as my computer background for a very long time. I love the 4 wheel steering mechanism. I didn't get to own one as yet, I had a black Honda Civic Type R EP3 few years ago but unfortunately I crashed it and written it off due to lack of sleep coming home from work one early morning. Now I have a silver Nissan 370z GT (think some country called it Fairlady Z34). There is one video on my channel which I have posted when I have the new exhausts fitted few months ago. Feel free to check it out 😄😊👍🏼

I’m glad someone finally did a video comparing the three. I really want a Lasernut but have heard of issues with the 5x11 pinion bearing going out. That and the drive train in general is designed for smaller tires and there’s too much stress.

I've heard those same things but haven't had any trouble with mine other than self inflicted damage lol. The ryft is way overpowered for how it sits but extremely fun. Have only had the bomber for a week but it seems like it can be a great all around rig with a few mods. Thanks for watching !!!!

Last week I sold my brand new then Axial Bomber 2.0 I bought last summer. Upgraded parts on it but just disappointed in it. It looks very pretty sitting on my shelf but the performance wasn't pretty for me when I ran it. Too slow, tips easily(I had to install Currie sway bar). I just didn't like it. I already have a TRX-4 Defender and it's faster than the bomber on 2nd gear. The bomber would be a great crawler but I wanted something faster and better handling, that means I have to invest in Brushless power and I already spent a lot on it. Then came the Lasernut I fell in love right away...this is what I'm looking for, I don't care it it's not locked diffs it's a great looking buggy. Based on the Tenacity platform plus already has brushless power unit. It handles great and can access the inside (motor esc servo) easier than the Bomber. As for the Ryft...nah, it's what the Bomber should have been. With brushless but with unlocked diffs. I felt ripped off by Axial with the Bomber expensive for its price yet you still have to upgrade to make it good. It's gone now, and I got the Lasernut now. Hope that helps your decision, it's up to you.

@@flat-out thank you! That has been my concern. I’m not a basher. I genuinely enjoy crawling but if the Bomber is slower than me TRXs well what’s the point. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Absolutely right 3 completely different truck's, theirs the Ryft which plain stinks, the Losi lasernut which doesn't even have solid axles making it nothing more than a lowered monster truck sitting on swing arms, and the Bomber which by far in my opinion is the best truck between them with solid front & rear locked out axles designed for rock crawling/ racing and also does amazing in the mud 🏁 ....👍🏼💯 what's your guys favorite out of the 3 ?
@hellorc7678

Well I we just recently sold our ryft so #3 is easy. I will say I really like the lasernut but think it's more of just a 4wd buggy (tenacity) but the bomber is definitely my first pick. A jack of all trades for sure! Thanks 😊
@ConditionZero76
@ConditionZero76 Жыл бұрын
@Hello RC Nice I agree 100 %, and yes you hit the nail on the head the lasernut is a great rig but more like a Buggy. I don't think rock crawling or racing when I think of the lasernut. The ryft just doesn't do it for me end of sentence lol and the Bomber yes is the jack of all trades, when I think of rock crawling/racing in the woods on a hillside etc to me that's a solid axle truck otherwise it's a basher in my n opinion. Great videos, Happy New Year to you your wife, and kids.....

A rear sway bar would be the best thing to make the Rift more controllable when it's under throttle. The torque twist is unreal in those. That's what makes the Lasernut handle so well when you give it the throttle. I'm actually very surprised that the Ryft doesn't come with one for the rear at least. Reefs RC and UCFab both make good sway bars for about 45$ or so. The bomber has a different gear ratio than the other two, but one of the nice, higher kv, sensored bl systems would wake it up nicely. I think the Lasernut is my favorite out of the three, there's some good aluminum upgrades for it now to. I believe I'm gonna have to find a slipper clutch that will work on my Gatekeeper, with the stronger bl system theres a little too much torque on the gears and shafts to run without one. Good video, guys.

Like as soon as we can we need that rear bar!!! Thanks for all the tips!! I really haven't driven bomber enough to decide what one I like best Maybe for the bomber too we will upgrade but first a battery to fit in it😃

Great reviews. Honestly - it sounds as though there is lots to learn about rock bouncing and Ultra4 and the differences between the two. The Ryft is geared sky high from the factory for amateurs to enjoy. I'd suggest checking out some Busted Knuckle videos on KZfaq, then try adding a 12T or 14T pinion gear paired to an RC4WD 4:1 gear reduction unit and aluminum axle housings. Perhaps some 20 million weight fluid in the center diff. Then go rock bouncing. Lasernut is also geared sky high but look into Ultra4 and you'll see why the Lasernut is king in its segment. Try 500k weight in the rear and 250 up front, then run it. Enjoy!

"Speed Kills"(it also breaks stuff). If you make your Bomber go faster you'll soon be breaking things as often as the Ryft. A mile is 5,280ft. 1/10 of that is 528ft. A 1/10 scale RC car going 10 MPH is actually going 100 "scale" MPH. Your Lasernut is essentially a proven 'Basher' chassis with a brushless motor and 'scaler' body attached. The Bomber has a much slower brushed motor, is a great trail truck, and can be easily tuned to be a somewhat large but effective crawler. The Ryft is too fast/powerful for many of its OEM components and thus requiring $300+ in CNC aluminum upgrades before it can consistently be driven as intended(and then I forsee bulkheads and such ultimately being torn out by the RC pilots who drive at skate-parks).

I have a Ryft. It's an amazing vehicle! DON'T get me a wrong. It has its issues. The stock servo saver is totally worthless. So, my first upgrade was a stronger servo and a metal servo horn. The other recommended upgrade (really more like necessary) is a rear sway bar.

Your husband is right. You need to put the thicker fluid in the center diff on the Lazer Nut. Every time you were stuck, it was diffing out and all power was diverted to just the front tires.
