Churro is definitely a stubby chonk chonk chonk boi and is so cute! I love the little details and the dots remind me of how reptiles and amphibians have translucent skin with dots all over. That clay gradient makes my heart sing and love that tail shape!

Churro is so cute! Maybe because the theme of churro is water you could make the other dragon based off of a basilisk lizard (not the fantasy creature). I know whatever you do though it will be awesome!

Ooohh hes absolutely adorable!! Fun fact: we have genetically modified some axolotls to glow in the dark! And some super rare genetic color morphs make axolotls look blue or purple! And for salvador, the long limbs paired with a potential water theme... my brain goes right to bigfin squid! Theyre pretty spooky and we know very little about them, with only a few mature adults ever being recorded!! Or maybe a blanket octopus since they have big beautiful "wings" !

Churro is adorable! I think an adorable companion for him would be a Gila Monster for a land/fire theme since the color palettes would be almost an inverse of each other and it would continue the Mexican theme.

He’s absolutely adorable and I’m in love! Just an fyi. UV resin and nail polish are just as toxic as regular resin and should be protected against with ppe until it’s fully cured. They get overlooked a lot in the safety areas because there’s a lot of false information out there that says they aren’t as toxic as they are. Please wear gloves and some sort of protective mask to protect yourselves! But anyways, he came out perfectly! Can’t wait to see what you make next!

This is so adorable!! And Churro is such a cute name 😭😭 I love the inspiration as well, if Churro is a sausage dog then the other dragon is like a greyhound, so maybe it could be inspired by a squid?? Or a swordfish? The idea of the dragon having a pointy swordfish snout is super cute to me haha

*SCREAMING* he's adorable I love the gil fans. I can't wait to see what the other dragon will be. The only thing I can think of is it can be like a moth dragon with a fluffy mane or a deer dragon. Whatever it's going to be it will just as beautiful and cute.

I think Salvador should also be a dragon pet, but just a bigger breed, so churro is Dachshund in this universe and Salvidor is a greyhound.

UV resin answers! The reason why it's still sticky is because it cures so quickly it doesn't actually cure all the way. So to get rid of the stickiness you're supposed to cure it for another 10-15 minutes depending on how big the project is. That sometimes includes both sides... ALSO to get rid of fingerprints on the cured resin acetone is gonna be your best friend..

He turned out so cute! Now this is what I call a great ajolote rendition 💙 love the color pallet, those turquoise and yellow accents contrasts beautifully with the pink. All those colors along with the little dots are very alebrije looking, also! The name fits him great and I’m so happy to watch projects inspired by our Mexican fauna 🥰

such a cute custom !! just a note though, axolotl is actually pronounced as "ah-SHO-lot-le" with a soft X sound. not many people know this so no worries, just thought you'd want to know :)

first of all: CHURRO IS A CUTIEEE second: salvadore always reminds me of a very elegant, elusive deer creature? so maybe sth in that direction? a forest spirit dragon ..maybe even tree like with carvings and such?

The only ideas I can think of for Salvador would be having him themed as a faerie dragon or if you planned for him to also be a pet for your dragoness doll. Maybe having him be either themed as fire or air dragon. Oh, or he can be a moon dragon!

I think a water nymph inspiration for the dragoness would be amazing, since nymphs tend to be pond/lake-oriented. Obviously still a dragon, aside! But just something to think about :)

a UV resin trick, sometimes the resin doesnt cure in the presence of air, so a thin layer of purified water over the piece and then cure again, usually does the trick!

Churro is so cute and I can't wait to see his owner! I love a turquoise dragoness queen. Everytime I see Salvador he reminds me of the Loch Ness Monster, if Nessie could fly that is! Or other long necked brachiosaurus like the Big Foots from the Land before Time.

Make the big one an an endargered Tuatara, to raise awareness. Also because they are insanely fascinating! "Tuatara are endemic to New Zealand. They grow very slowly, live to over 100 years old and are the only survivors of an ancient group of reptiles which roamed the earth, along with the dinosaurs, over 200 million years ago"

He’s soo cute. You are wonderfully talented. Would you consider doing a fantasy creature based on a spider? I’d love to see a soft and delicate design for our 8 legged friend. Something sympathetic and sweet. Spiders are helpful and I’m tired of them getting a bad reputation.

We have two albino axolotls and this guy reminds me of them so you did a good job. He is adorable. Our fellas are pretty much pink all over, including the eyes.

How about a zebra tailed lizard they have very long legs and live in desert like regions which would go well with the water theme as a kind of oppisit element. Or if you wanted a more aquitic long legged creature how about a japanese spider crab.

If you're thinking something water-based for your long dragon, I'd suggest combining a signt-hound, like a greyhound, with something else that lives in rivers and feels 'long' - my first thought was that an Aligator with more irridescence or shiny scaling would be cool, but Sturgeon, Beta-fish, Electric eels, or Otters might also be interesting. Maybe even a dinosaur.

Churro is so adorable. I saw a giraffe with the other dragon doll, with the long legs and neck so maybe a creature with an African Savannah look - it would then contrast nicely with the water theme of Churro.

so cute and tiny. my very first thought for the larger dragon was spider-esque because of the long legs, or a praying mantis type, but i don't think either one would really work lol. maybe something tree like because of the long legs, something like the legs being tree like that way when it stands still, it's invisible to a human's gaze.

The other dragon should totally be snake themed! Something like „what if a snake suddenly grew legs?” It could also be flower themed and you can even give it a longer neck and tail from the unused parts of Churro. My choice would also be a zaskroniec, as it could be mixed with a cow since it’s black and white. A flowery snake cow, yes

Churro is super cute and using translucent clay was brilliant! Just as the small one resembles a dachshound, the larger one resembles a dobermann. So maybe a guardian angel-dragon-hound? The only dobermann I've known personally was one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met.

I would recommend putting a glossy varnish or resin on his eyes to make them shiny

I put 3 coats of glossy varnish on his eyes and omg it's so difficult to photograph because of the shine, never again 😅

I use a lot of UV resin and it will have a hard time curing on an opaque background. Also it shrinks in such large batches (also large batches stink and if you can smell it, slap a mask on). Also I use a nail lamp so I have to cure mine at least 2 cycles before I try touching them, but it will be longer if the resin is thicker. It works similar to the UV gel polish, but will cure hard. I highly recommend Sophie and Toffee for molds. I use the backside of the molds for flat things. I love UV resin and hate having to deal with epoxy resin (it's so messy and takes sooooo much longer). I hope this helps!

The gold/yellow works perfectly as there are a type of axolotls that are yellow/gold, axolotls come in a bunch of colors

Fun fact! axolotls can regrow fins, tail and limbs as they are "stuck" into the juvenile phase that all other amphibians shed when becoming adults and going on the land, they literally have terminal baby disease! Do with this information what you want

Churro is so cute! Absolutely adorable, I love him so much. Clearly the dragon lady who owns him also comes from the same lake, though I don't think she'd be an axolotl. His big brother? Hmmm... well he should probably be a different element. I'd love to see an earth element myself, that's not one you see done often for dragons, and usually it's lava (which is very cool, but a little over done).

I love Churro. In spanish churro is a kind of sweet fritters, very common with chocolate. Or is used to explain that something is wrong. This Churro is sweet, 😊 I think the main meaning is more accurate!

He is very cute, but I kind of wish you'd done polymer clay for the wing flaps too, and the eyes seem dull. Perhaps some varnish? The sculpting and paint are excellent overall and I think you accomplished your goals in making this doll!

A note about the water texture, I would look into products made for dioramas, I think Woodland Scenics makes a clear shapeable paste meant to mimic waves on the surface of water.

I know cause I like to watch dioramas being made, but I'm not sure it's available in Poland so easily. Plus, buying this specific of a product for one doll seems wasteful to me so I was trying to make it work with what I had on hand 🤗
