nice review! really looking forward to getting my air :) was Saturn emulation good to? the device looks soooo good. btw. did you get red stick cups in the package?

Thanks! I didn't get a chance to test Saturn, but if it can manage some Switch stuff, I'm fairly confident it should be fine. I didn't get the red caps, sadly. It was sent from AYANEO though, so they might not include caps in review units.

I got mine on Monday and it came with red and black thumb stick caps. It also came with thumb stick covers (not going to use them since they are of cats), a case and stickers. I ordered the 12 GB version

Nice review... as for the device, i wish they offered different colors. Not really a fan of the white/red color combo..

The Razer Edge is one of the best overall gaming handhelds for Android gaming, emulation, and cloud gaming. Just talking about the Wi-Fi model. It is priced pretty good for what it actually is. Which is a gaming tablet/handheld device. In line with other tablets on the market and with the specs. Good price, power, and features ratio.

Its too much like a phone. The 21:9 aspect ratio feels like a waste. My steam deck case is the same length as my razer edge case. Do not recommend unless you really love android games. Plus the kishi v2 is the loudest controller ever built. Every single button is a microswitch. It is super annoying to play without headphones and will surely bother whoever is next to you

@@Drivenby It's a weird one cause I thought some of it was great, but there's so many weird decisions. It's still in my top 5, but I'm not sure what that says about the current state of Android consoles. 😂

@@Drivenby It was designed like that on purpose. It takes advantage of mobile games first and everything else second. That is also why it has the detachable Kishi. To play vertical and horizontal mobile games. No other Android handheld has that versatility. The Kishi is responsive and durable. Why do you think keyboards last so long. Microswitches, tried and tested. It is also one of the best and most supported mobile controller.

@@RetroResolve For every or most decision you think is weird. I can give you a reason Razer designed it that way. The system works for what it was intended to do or made for to be exact. Some cons had to be made for some pros. Like the aspect ratio for mobile games and media. Even though it affects cloud streaming and emulation. But they made it to be the ultimate android gaming handheld. So mobile gaming takes the focus.
