Yeah, and combined from his brief moment of guilt when he realized he seriously bummed out Charlie is kind of a sign that there's still some good in him. My idea is that since Angel's been stuck in Hell since the 1940's, he's starting to get sick of his pornstar life and wants out, or at least something different than what he currently has. And he's not intentionally being an insensitive douche, it's just that with all the drugs he's consumed over the years, his sense of empathy has numbed a bit.

Who here got the reference when Alastor said "You're never fully dressed without one!"? (It was a reference to the musical and movie Annie. It was said by a radio host. The actual line is You're never fully dressed without a smile. This references to Alastor because he is known as the "Radio Demon" and may have worked as a radio host when he was alive. Also Annie takes place during the Great Depression and that's when Alastor was still alive and died soon after in his thirties)

If you noticed, during the first song Charlie sings, she sings the line "you'll be on easy street" another line from Annie, and in that scene there are three other characters with one with a name tag that says "Hannigan" who is the lady who owned the orphanage in Annie. The other characters bare likeness to "Rooster" and his partner.

I'm deeply concerned by the phrasing. "I hereby order you to help for *as long as you want*" sounds like a serious issue to me. Whatever he defines as "helping" is on the table, and he now has permission from "the princess of Hell and heir to the throne" to do so indefinitely.

well here's the thing... he agreed to do this on the basis of an ORDER from the princess its not a contract like a deal where both sides are locked into what they said charlie can literly just make another order even if it contradicts her previous one as a royalty in a monarchy if she wants some of her orders can have precedence over others

@@XxSmartiesxX_ probably its just that alestor doesn't have free reign as a lot of people think he WILL have to be stealthy about this stuff and if things DO get bad since he agreed to listen to her orders if she orders him to leave well thats that.. there is also razzle and dazzle her bodyguards who were present during her song in the pilot 'inside of every demon is a rainbow' who appearently have a monstrous form they transform into when someone hurts or is about to do something to charlie

Fun fact!! The reason Angel Dust was so interested in the car window lever thingy was because he died before they were invented and used, so this was most likely his first time seeing one. Also! I think that maybe the reason Charlie is such a sweet and wholesome figure in literal hell is that she was born to two of the most popular fallen angels, (Lucifer and Lillith). So technically, at her core, she was born an angel, just raised in hell

Fun fact: The reason Alastor smiles so much is because to him, smiling is a show of dominance. Considering that Charlie has a natural flair to her as seen in your previous reaction with her song and how she seems to smile almost as much as we've seen Alastor has, Alastor does have an interest in helping Charlie. also he's humming "you're never fully dressed without a smile" the guy who sang it was Vizie's dream voice for it before she found Alastor's VA.

Vaggie is from El Salvador, but she does speak Spanish. Also, Vaggie died in 2014, cause of death unkown. Angel died in 1947, drug overdose. Alastor died in 1933, dog related accident. Hope that clears some things up.
