My only regret about Arjen is not discovering him sooner. As an avid metal fan, been listening to metal since the early 90's it's unfathomable to me that I've just recently discovered his Majesty. Arjen, you are a sublime artist, keep creating this beautiful music for us!

This was the first song of Ayreon that i listened to. It is still my favourite.

Great Albums I and II 😘

I never even knew of Russell Allen until I heard Star One, and saw him in Star One Live on Earth, which is still my favourite Arjun Concert (2003). He is now my favourite singer, and his best work is with Arjun. Amazing voice and talent. For us metalheads, Part 2 is better.

It is also one of the songs where it is crucial that the listener realizes that this leg of the album is a recount of the last colonists reliving, or observing, the life of the universal migrator. Keeping that idea in mind really helps in understanding/interpreting the lyrics.
