It's good. Great even. But I can't agree with top 5. Not even close. Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Hallowed Be Thy Name, Pashendale, Empire of the Clouds, Alexander the Great, Revelations, The Legacy, Lord of Light, Tears of the Dragon, Jerusalem, Hell on Earth, The Book of Souls... I could go on, but those are a few that exceed this one.

I only started listening to Ayreon recently, even though I'd known about it for years. My first exposure to this incredible song was Tommy Karevik's performance from the Universe shows and I was instantly blown away. Imagine my surprise when I found out that Bruce had recorded the original version. Of course I had to check it out, and as awesome as Tommy and Damian are, Bruce is just PERFECT for this song!

Fun fact : Original singer was Damian, but one day Bruce popped by to Arjen studio and decided to record this one. But it was disobliging. They had gentleman agreement that Arjen won't use it until Bruce decide what to do with this one. Arjen wasn't waiting and just put it on the album. Bruce was furious and since then don't want to hear about Lucassen. Damian was more forgiving.

This song really takes all out of Mr. Dickinson. Lows, middles, highs. A beautiful thing. Great Arjen you got him, at least ONCE, to do magic. Respect. To all people performing on this BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
