I remember sitting in a bus half asleep as a teenager, on my way to school one morning, listening to this song and imagining how amazing it'd look performed live... And here it is!! So many years later, totally worth the wait! 01011001 is just such a special album to me, so many memories of listening the songs in all kinds of different places and situations, remembering those moments as I hear the music... Oh, there are no words for it, it's just special. Thank you, Arjen and folks! ❤

The guitarists have this look on their face and they are standing in position like 'now we are just playing some nice sweet clean chords for you building up tension, but wait untill we hit the overdrive pedal. We will make you dudu-duudududu!'

For some reason, I've always had to rewind Bob Catley's parts: Every million cycles shooting stars rip our sky We could divert them, on the day they pass us by ... We'll plant our seeds And guide them to their goal We cannot fail, we have absolute control Maybe it's the way he sang it, IDK. Such a gentle nostalgia feeling and at the same time yearning for a possible future in those lines. Another parts that I cannot hear just one time are Jonas R./Anneke V.G. singing We Are Forever, Jorn L./Floor J. duet and Maggy Luyten's chorus in Liquid Eternity and a combination of Jonas/Floor growls-operatic singing in The Sixth Extinction. Either way, this concert is bloody amazing and even if the lineup cannot be exactly same, I knew it would be exceptional nonetheless. Ayreon's soundscape never fails.

I think the major difference between a group like this and a group like Ghost is this group is designed to showcase the talents of other musicians. They are given the opportunity to perform work created by somebody else. In the end it's a team effort he gets to showcase what he's created while the others get to showcase what they do best. With ghost yes it is created by one person but by making the band members nameless ghouls we never really know who they are. And I don't think that's the creator's point. That doesn't mean ghost is not a good band they just are different groups

@@dac2007 The Source would make more sense. It is a "prequel" to the Y album and this concert ended with TDTTWBD, allowing it to flow naturally into The Source. And I expect they will take the opportunity and make both Migrator albums into a single concert.
