The second singer is dutch, his name is John Jaycee Cuijpers and he has been joining Arjen Lucassen's projects for many years. In the Electric Castle he played and sung the role of the Barbarian. He and Arjen do together in the song Amazing Flight. He also did a marvellous part in the song Dawn of a million Souls.

Two other clips from Ayreon I recommend are "Valley of the Queens" (short but sweet) and "The Day That the World Breaks Down" (long and delicious). Peace from California USA

You absolutely need to check out When Druids turned to Stone. Damian Wilson sings it on the same show. The show was absolutely mind blowing. So glad I was there.

Ayreon live is something super special - the amount of time and effort that goes into setting something like one of his albums up is one thing, but the sheer magnitude of getting everyone together for a live concert is on a completely different level. I remember when they he put together their second show ever "Live in the Real World" it took ten years for it to happen again in 2016 with the "Theatre Equation", all the while myself and many other fans thought it may never happen again. It's amazing that they're happening more frequently since, and I hope it doesn't stop. I flew in to see two of the four shows for the Electric Castle Live and Other Tales and don't regret it one bit. Incredible.

Wow yes love this song! Arjen Lucassen is just a genius. He really knows how to make good Rock/Metal with all those super talented singers and musicians. You should definitely check out the new album called "Transitus" when it will be released in september. And look at these names who are on this new album: Simone Simons, Patty Gurdy and Tommy Karevik. Well these three are just a few of the much more super talented singers and musicians who collaborated with Arjen. Thank you so much for this great reaction! Hope some other people will recommend other songs from Ayreon! :-)

It would be fun, if Tauri could react to "The Garden of Emotions", but I am not sure about who is dealing with copyright claims for videos on Arjen´s channel. Have you seen the metal opera Equilibrio by Xystus with Simone?

This was the last song of that show, that's why everyone joined on stage. The tall guy next to Floor at the end section is Arjen ' Ayreon ' Lucassen.

This song is originally from Arjen Lucassen's group, "Star one". It is from a set of songs based on sci-fi movies and TV shows. This song is based on the movie "Stargate." Irene & Floor were a great dancing duo back then and still are a real treat. I would love to hear more from the sisters. That line-up at the end!!!! Most of my faves all on one stage.

@@PlacidDragon I feel so lucky that I was able to get the DVD. I love that concert. Floor and Irene singing backup and doing the "Jansen dance". I love seeing Arjen up there on guitar too :)

Damian Wilson is such a fantastic singer. For me the male counterpart to Floor (Dimash is not human, he doesn't count :) ) He was considered for Iron Maiden when Bruce left but they finally chose Blaze because he lived more nearby,.... Check out Twisted Coil, When Druids turn to Stone or Intergalactic Space Crusaders (that one is a blast) from Ayreon with Damian in full force.

Tauri, they all have great voices ... amongst his many other genius level skills, Arjen knows how to pick the pinnacle of talent. He's also the guy who shoves his way in next to Floor at the end ... there is nothing about him that isn't genius!

The first guy in the vid is Damian Wilson who has been singing, mainly in progressive metal since the early ninties. Check out some of his wonderful vocals with Headspace and especially Threshold, he has also played the lead role in Les Miserables. He is one of the UK's most underatted vocalists, although Arjen obviously knows his worth as he's been a regular with both Ayreon and Star One.

That's Damian Wilson, Tauri. Have you heard the Jansen Sisters (who needs The Nolan Sisters? 😜) do "Who I Am"? I wish Irene would sing more often. She might not have as many vocal tools as Big Sis, but she has a fantastic voice in her own right. I hope they will do an album together. Hopefully the new material Floor's been talking about will include her. 🤞 The new Ayreon album, TRANSITUS includes former Doctor Who Tom Baker, guitar god Joe Satriani and Simone Simons.

"Who I Am" is a good suggestion as Irene is not just doing backing vocals. Her voice has a lot of weight in lower notes and it is huskier than Floor´s, in my opinion.

Check out Freiheit by Null Positiv. They are a German Industrialized Groove metal band that sings in all German like Rammstein does. It just came out today and the song is a total banger! I think you will love it! Have a good one, Tauri! \m/\m/

The two female singers whose voices are similar are sisters, Irene (left) and Floor (right) Jansen. Floor currently sings for Nightwish, while Irene has mostly (that I'm aware of) worked with Ayreon and Star One (both Arjen Lucassen projects).

@@TauriReacts you have a beautiful green wall behind you but then leave it green. Green screening allows you to filter out the background. Otherwise you would not need the green background :) unless you want to hide a dirty room though :)

@@saelfaer The background behind me is a light brown colour, not green, and when I try to Chroma Key it it takes out my skin colour as well lol.... I'll get an actual green screen eventually, but for now this will have to do.
