I'm usually not terribly excited for anyone standing in where Floor Jansen once sang, but Brittney lived up to her name and SLAYED it! I'm proud to be from the same place as her! So cool to see this all go down like this. She held up the whole show and blew me away!

Dear Arjen. I have written to you in the past and you took the time to answer. I just wanted to repeat what I told you then, nearly 20 years ago if not more. You will probably won't ever fully comprehend the impact your music has to most of us and that is ok. Seeing these videos makes me feel like I have grown old with you. Not only you, your friends too, both old and new. Damian, Irene, Marcela, Hansi, Daniel, Anneke, Simone and many, many more. It saddens me that i will probably never experience one of your live performances but at least we have the digital means now and I can feel the energy from home. Thank you.

70 years young and still kicking. I was lucky enough to get hold of three tickets for the sunday matinee and took both my sons with me. I had high expectations, but this show blew my mind. Thanks Arjen (and everyone who made it possible) for a great show!

People looking in must be thinking ‘yeah looks like a cool gig’ without any actual idea of what the whole experience of Tilburg, the friends you meet, the weekend experience, the concerts, the build ups, the artist interactions with fans outside of the gigs. The whole thing can only really be called an ‘experience’. Nobody goes to an Ayreon ‘gig’. It’s a 3 yearly holiday weekend with all your mates you’ve never even met before.

That's why I love metal. Singers and musicians together on one stage with each of them able to fill stadiums in their own with their respective bands. And yet we as the audience feel nothing but mutual respect between them. Everybody giving everybody else their room to shine and create something wonderful together. Dankeschön and dank u wel Arjen from your neighbours in the southeast. You are a creator of magic.

I travelled with my brother and mother from Chile to Tilburg just to see this show (on Saturday and Sunday), and they were the best show we've ever been. I've never seen that many talented people on stage. And I really loved the kindness and respect of the dutch people... but (maybe I'm gonna be hated for saying this) I really really missed the latin audience :c . I wanted to jump, sing and scream, but everyone was so respectful (we latinos express our passion for music in a more explosive way), maybe latin americans will understand what I mean. Anyway, best show ever and huge admiration and gratitude to Arjen and every single people who helped carry out this wonderful show!

A supergroup doesn't even begin to describe this... more like hyper-galactic supergroup!

There's something about Anneke's final part that always gives me goosebumps, and the live version produces the same effect.

I said before, I feel emotional to the tears to remember every single detail of this show, this adventure for me. I bought the tickets few minutes before my dad passed away, when you decided to include a 5th show. I couldn't celebrate my acquisition because my cell phone rang to give me the bad news: my dad was in the hospital and that day his grandchildren were allowed to visit him. That was the last day of my dad: november 24. I kept my tickets to live my mourning. Sometimes life likes to hit us more than once: the pain caused for my dad's death took my grandma's life. She passed away a month and a half after my dad. Two very important persons of my home and life left us in a brief period of time. But in that moment I remembered that we live just once. So, I told my brother that we had to prepare ourselves to travel to Europe to an Ayreon show, because I got the tickets the same day of our dad departure and, as he loved traveling, we must do this journey. And we were there. No matter the bad moments, I feel emotional in a good way. "The meaning of life is to give life meaning." Thank you Arjen for this wonderful experience.

With an age of 67 I thought to be one of the few “elderly” persons in the audience. Had a fascinating chat with a guy from Finland, 21 years old, and discovered that music, especially this music, is not a matter of age, it is a matter of feelings. And, besides that, I was definitely not the only person in the audience with grey hair..

we were gonna go to Costa Rica for my senior trip but then 2020 happened so my mom asked me where we should allocate the money towards. I said that we should save it for the next time there's an Ayreon show and go to the Netherlands. Best decision ever!

I must admit, that performance really got to me emotionally. Kudos to Britney for stepping into Floor's shoes with such talent, and Michael Mills deserves applause for not only honoring Steve Lee's memory but also adding his own unique twist to the song.

It keeps stunning me how a couple of guitars and keyboards replace entire orchestras and make metal become symphonic thunder. 🤩🤘

Third time in Tilburg and what a blast! Ayreon Universe in 2017 already was an such an epic experience, so much bigger than the Star One show I saw live back in 2002. Then back to Tilburg in 2019 for the Electric Castle, saw two of the shows and again, Ayreon raised the bar even higher. At this point you think there won't be any chance to top that any further? Wrooong! Yet they set up another set of five incredible 01011001shows, which I was lucky enough to be able to attend both matineé show on saturday and sunday with my girlfriend and my 12yo daughter. But with Ayreon and Tilburg it's not just about the shows. The whole vibe that the city has while becoming Ayreonburg for one weekend is so amazing. Happy and friendly people from all over the world across the whole town, walking the streets, sitting in bars, cafés and restaurants, talking in all kind of languages. Special Ayreon menues and of course the origin Ayreon beers. Even the local cinema does it's part and shows those recordings of the past years shows on the big screen. Where else could you expect to experience an Ayreon show in the freakin' cinema and even see Arjen and Joost as shady quiz masters in an Ayreon quiz? Long story short... Thanks to everyone who made this possible and was involved in this very special weekend: the band, the crew, the fans from around the globe and the citizens of Tilburg for welcoming this bunch of Ayreonauts every other couple of years! I don't think I've seen this much talent on stage at one time. It's on par when I saw Zappa with the Oakland Ballet and Berkeley Symphony (Kent Nagano conducting) many years ago. And the ego's seemed to be left at the door. Great job everyone. Lucassen is a special person. Sidenote: Both Arjen and Buckethead are 6'7''. I would like to see a Skinny tall Bookend concert with the two of them. :) Once again, great job to all!!!

That reaction at 9:11, when they walk on stage, the woman with read hair. Exactly how I felt that moment. That was basically me. Waited over year for that after drooling over those moments from the previous shows. It was so incredible to be there.

Epic performance and glad to have been there. I do feel the video edit is too frantic / erratic, even working against the music at times. Shots that switch mid sentence and switching to a different part of the stage every 2.5 seconds. But, still epic.

Always loved Ayreon since I discovered Arjen with 01011001, discovered so many great musicians trough his music and I really adore Brittney Slayes and am SO amazed by her performances with her own band (Unleash the Archers) but also with her contributions to Arjens recent works. Hope to see her along the ride a lot more often! Also would love to see Irene, Jan Willem and Marcela in more prominent roles, even though they kick ass as background singers! Rock on!

A once in a lifetime experience to see this performance, while I am jealous that I have to wait for the DVD, man it's just the most beautiful thing and I'm so happy that my ayreonaut brothers and sisters were able to see this miraculous event live, we are so lucky.
