Never in my life before I've seen a guitar solo that's almost 10 minutes long. Now I really understand why Ayub Bachchu is a legend in Bangladesh. We may hold him in beautiful memory and hope he's in peaceful heaven. This solo was stunning from the beginning to the end and is proof that he was a special talent. I was confused by the eerie and shady sounds and how he played with the tonalities in this performance. Thank you for witnessing this together with me, as "Thank You" is the title of the song as well.

@@probahoG I am not measuring his level.. he is legend.. neither I am comparing him with other legend guitarist because he is unique… again the observation and innovation about his solo guitar play .. some influence similarity I can see with Joe Satriani.. in fact both guitarist share lots of common platform and experimental thing… if you think it’s a disrespect to him then I am sorry.. and I believe it’s not disrespect but give him honour to take his name with some world class guitarist of all the time.. what more you expect .. he is not from mars.. he is from earth.. sorry I cannot tell him as alien from unknown 🪐 🤔

Buddy ! This is actually a power ballad named “Hashtey Dekho, Gaitey Dekho” played fully into instrumental form. The slow melodic portion is the actual song he’s playing in instrumental form with his guitar. The other portions are the extended guitar solo parts of that song. As such you are getting bit confused.

He is the representative of LRB. He practiced guitar for 8 hours every day during his life. That’s why he is different from others. Perhaps that is why he is a legendary guitarist of Bangladesh. (Also called Father of the father of guitarist in Bangladesh) . He was the best guitarist of South Asia and one of the famous guitarist of the Asian subcontinent. RIP “Ayub Bachchu.” 😢

Ayub Bachchu was a legendary guitarist! I don't know if anyone else can be like him! But he loved his motherland very much. Once went to a concert abroad and saw a guitar in a glass in a guitar store. When he wanted to see the guitar, the shop owner asked where are you from? Bachchu said I am from Bangladesh! Then the shop owner said this guitar is not for you, because it is too expensive! Bachchu replied that I will buy it no matter how expensive it is! Then when he was allowed to see the guitar, Bachchu started playing the guitar in such a way that the shop owner looked at him in amazement! Later when Bachchu returned the guitar to the shop owner and said I will not buy it. Then the shop owner said, I will give you this guitar at half price! Then Bachchu said that the guitar makes my country smaller, even if you give it for free, I will not take it!

The story you are sharing it happened at Guitar Center, a chain musical store in New York city. However, the manager of the store never said “ you’re Bangladeshi and the guitar is not for you”. Because it’s not possible for him to say, he would be looking for a lawsuit by saying that. Bacchu bhai was testing a guitar and the way Bacchu bhai was playing, people were amazed by his playing and the manager actually gave him that guitar as a gift. It was a vintage guitar, played by none other than Eric Clapton.

AB was not only an iconic guitarist but also a complete musician. An emotional lyricist, a rythmic composer, a total music director. Who rises up at '90s only they can feel the meaning of AB. He can lead a concert and the viewers even when he missing songs line. RIP Legend!

This is when he was back on stage after recovering massive health issues like brain stroke in 2009! Moreover, his heart condition was very poor & doctors advised him strongly to take leave from music/singing as well. But he denied and kept continuing his devotions till the last night before the day he died in 2018... I urge you to watch & listen his those records/ songs/composition/guitar playing made before 2008/09. He is the pioneer of Bangladeshi Band Music & he is not a matter of joke. His music career started in 70s.

Rupali guiter means (silver guiter) It was gifted from a guiter shop of london when Ayub bacchu was made a great exaiting tune in this guiter shop and the shop owner was empressed for his guiter playing and he gift the guiter and said that."the guiter has made for you ayub"
