Actually, I think the rarest structure in Minecraft is the Igloo. Seriously. I've only ever found them twice in the entire time I've been playing Minecraft for, and I started in about mid August 2016.

The igloo is somewhat hard to find but 100% not the rarest. If we talk about removed structures or areas we can bring up the brick pyramid which is almost impossible to find in new versions since it was removed. Or the fossils If we are talking about things that are still in Minecraft the fossils are almost impossible to find if your in the overworld.

I've never even heard of a brick pyramid existing in Minecraft, and the only time I've ever found a fossil in the over world was in creative mode before the nether update. They are a bit more common since that update, though.

Yea nether fossils are really common. Brick pyramids are WAYYYYY past 2016 I think around Minecraft’s infdev phase which was in either early 2010 or late 2009.

No problem. I can see the confusion. But, yeah, I've almost never seen a fossil in the over world. I see them in the nether, usually.
