Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) authorising post-graduate practitioners of Ayurveda to perform general surgical procedures.
The IMA condemns the notification by the CCIM, a statutory body under the AYUSH Ministry, authorising post-graduate practitioners in specified streams of Ayurveda to be trained to perform surgical procedures such as excisions of benign tumours, amputation of gangrene, nasal and cataract surgeries, the statement said.

Bro in kerala mixopathy is not allowing.. Even pcm cant prescribe. It be criminal act according to kerala medical council... And punished by heavy fine and imprisonment.. In kerala bams dr have no Right to practice allopathy and surgery... But in government ayurveda college there be allopathy dr the can practice allopathic procedure.. Actually thats is the main reason heavy unemployment happening in kerala.. Salary is very pathetic less than 5 kto 10 k... Even after md /ms the vacancy also very less...

Sir ye toh 2020 ka notification hai aur baad mei IMA bhi court chle gyi thi.. uske baad ab kya bna case ka hum jeet gye h ya haar gye h?? Sir AIAPGET ka test aane vala hai aur mai SURGERY k liye he Neet dene vala hun aur Shalya he subject lunga but ye na ho ki Court mei hum case haar chuke huye ho toh fir akele ksharsutra k liye mai MS nhi krunga MD krunga.. Cmo add.cmo kahate hai ki up government order le aawo jo nahi hai hamara aap logo se requist hai ki aap log m.s. apane college me band kar de nahi to practice me problem hoti hai ayu surgeon frusted ho jata hai jab wah sir surgery kar ke aaya hai to kya karega surger ka syllabus chek kar liya jay medicine nahi hai.
