Ayurveda students study both modern as well as Ayurvedic syllabus....And also do internships in both allopathy and Ayurvedic medicine... Talking about surgery only students those have MS degree after bams can perform and assist in different surgery.

Around 10 years earlier antibiotics were used least but now a day combination of antibiotics are used. Is this the reason behind more consumption of medicine. So the salary should be higher. There is too much research and advanced machine to diagnose disease and on the other hand number of patients of non communicable diseases are increasing at a higher pace. Strong reason to get higher salary. There are lots of renowned even Allopathic doctors who knows the strength of different medical systems. Some of them converted, experiencing the miracle of Homoeopathic or Ayurvedic medicine on his own family. All these Doctors must be listened. Salary and facilities discrimination hurts Physicians dignity. In this materialistic world very few people wants to be a doctor to serve the suffering. If this will be the situation none will want to be atleast an AYUSH doctor.

If ayurvedic doctor write modern medicine then they themselves accept modern medicine is best.

Today BAMS students are better than MBBS students as far as knowledge is concerned because they study both ayurveda and modern whereas MBBS students study only modern. Recent Supreme Court decision is extremely disappointing for Ayush students.
